FROM YOUR DRAFT TO YOUR FEED

Three steps, then nothing left to do.

  1. Put the post on a day

Open the calendar and drop the post on the day you want. The month view shows the plan, the week view shows a busy week hour by hour.

  2. Pick the hour

Type the time yourself, or open the recommended times and click a slot. The time zone you scheduled in stays attached to the post.

  3. Let it publish

The post goes out at the planned time through the official LinkedIn API. If anything blocks, a notification tells you what to fix.

WHAT SITS AROUND THE SLOT

A calendar that does the publishing.

One calendar, month or week

Scheduled and published posts sit side by side, in the month view or the week view. Drag a post to another day when the plan changes, and hide the weekend if you never post on it. Drafts wait in your post list, where a filter separates drafts, scheduled and published.

Every format LinkedIn accepts

Text, one image or several, a GIF, a video with the thumbnail of your choice, a PDF, a carousel, a poll, mentions of profiles and pages, and a link preview you can remove. You can also prepare the first comment, published right after the post or after a delay you set.

What you can scheduleTextImageSeveral imagesGIFVideoPDFCarouselPollMentionsA poll takes a question of 140 characters and 2 to 4 options, a GIF up to 10 MB. You can remove the link preview, and if LinkedIn refuses it the post goes out without it.

Recommended times, country by country

Open the heatmap, choose a country, and read the slots where posts collect the most engagement there. Click one and it fills the date and the hour. The map is computed from real LinkedIn posts and refreshed every week: it is an average for a country, not a reading of your own audience.

It really goes out

MagicPost publishes through the official LinkedIn API, as a verified partner, with an access you grant on LinkedIn itself. About a day before the slot, your media is uploaded to LinkedIn as a test, so a file that would be refused shows up while there is still time to fix it.

Your team and your company page

An admin can schedule for one member or several, each post going out with that member's own account and time zone. Turn on approval mode and nothing publishes before it is approved, with the calendar shared for review and the discussion inside the post. You can also publish on a company page you administer.

SCHEDULE FROM YOUR AI ASSISTANT

Ask your assistant to book the slot.

Ask for a post to go out on Tuesday morning and your assistant calls the 3 publishing tools of the MagicPost MCP server: the post lands in your calendar at that date and hour, and it can be moved or published right away from the same chat.

Your assistant can put a post in your calendar because it talks to your account through MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, the open standard that connects AI assistants to tools like MagicPost.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you fill your calendar.

Is it safe to schedule LinkedIn posts with MagicPost?

Yes. MagicPost is a LinkedIn verified partner and publishes through the official LinkedIn API. You connect your account on LinkedIn's own authorization screen, so your password never passes through MagicPost, and there is no browser extension to install. You can revoke that access from your LinkedIn settings whenever you want.

Does scheduling a post reduce its reach?

A post scheduled with MagicPost is published through the official LinkedIn API, so it arrives in the feed like a post written on LinkedIn. What your post reaches depends on the content, the hour it goes out and the reactions it gets early on, and no tool can promise you a number. If you are looking for a starting point on the hour, the recommended times show the slots that collect the most engagement in a given country.

What happens if a scheduled post fails to publish?

You get a notification in the app and an email that says what went wrong in plain words: a LinkedIn connection to renew, a media LinkedIn refused, a mentioned profile that cannot be tagged. The post stays in your calendar, so you fix it and publish again. Most failures never reach you: the media is tested about a day before the slot, a second publishing route takes over when the first one is unavailable, and posts that got stuck mid-publish are picked up on their own.

Can I schedule posts on a LinkedIn company page?

Yes, if you administer the page. A MagicPost account publishes either on your personal profile or on the company page connected to it, so pick the one you want to run from that account.

Can I schedule the first comment under my post?

Yes. Under your own scheduled posts you can prepare comments that go out right after the post or after a delay you choose, with an image and mentions. Scheduling posts is included from the entry paid plan, and scheduled comments come with the plan above it.

How far ahead can I schedule, and can I move a post?

You can schedule up to six months ahead. In the calendar, drag a post to move it to another day; to change the hour, open the post and pick a new time. The time zone you scheduled in stays attached to the post, so a trip abroad does not move it.
