Finding posts on LinkedIn
As a professional platform, LinkedIn has distinct features and an interface different from other platforms. The creators also tend to make regular significant changes so you need to be updated on navigating the platform.
If you need help finding your LinkedIn posts, there are some ways to do that. Whether you’re on your desktop or mobile phone, here are some methods you should try.
From your profile
Aside from being the dashboard that houses everything about you like your About section, Job experience, and educational background, your LinkedIn profile offers even more functionality.
It can be your go-to source for locating your recent activity and even saved posts on the platform. So if you’re looking for something related to your activities using the platform, your profile should be your first stop.
Let’s look at how you can locate your LinkedIn posts through your profile on both mobile and desktop.
On smartphones and tablets
Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner of your screen
Click on View Profile
On your profile scroll down to the section tagged Activity and click on Show all posts.
From there you can view all your recent posts. You can even narrow your options down by choosing to view only your posts, comments, articles, or the posts you reacted to.
“Is it the same process if I use LinkedIn on my laptop?” you may ask.
They are almost the same, but LinkedIn’s desktop UI is quite different from the mobile view and it’s for that reason that the process is slightly different. For example, your profile is not on the top left corner of the desktop. Let’s see how this works out on the desktop view.
On desktop
Find your profile by tapping on the Me section at the top of your screen.
Now on your profile, scroll down to Activity
On the Activity section, click on Show all posts
The data behind your posts
You may search for your LinkedIn posts to find how well they’re doing. LinkedIn is restrictive on the kind of data you have access to and you may not be able to view the number of shares (not reposts) your post has generated, the engagement rate, and the visualization of your stat development.
The thing is good thing is LinkedIn provides you with other valuable metrics to help you measure the health of your post. These are:
Post impression (views)
Reactions
Comments.
Shares.
You can also access your LinkedIn data via MagicPost to analyze outcomes and refine your posts with AI.
Using LinkedIn search feature
Another versatile and straightforward option to find LinkedIn posts is through the search feature. LinkedIn Search enables you you easily find anything by entering specific keywords.
If you’re using the LinkedIn app on your smartphone, you can easily find this displayed on the top corner of your screen, while on the desktop view, you’ll find it on the top left corner.
Into the search box, enter the keywords related to the post you’re searching for. For example, if you’re looking for posts on free marketing courses, go ahead and type it. LinkedIn will show multiple posts on free marketing courses and you have the option of changing the filters more a more personalized result.
Through hashtags
Just like with other social media platforms, the use of hashtags is highly encouraged on LinkedIn. They are useful in joining conversations on specific topics on the platforms and help boost the visibility of your post.
LinkedIn hashtags are also another way to search for posts on LinkedIn and filter through unrelated posts.
Searching through hashtags helps narrow your search. So if you’re searching for valuable information on a particular topic, try entering the keyword with a hashtag in front of it.
For instance, let’s search for #marketing
The search result will show you various results relating to marketing including companies, job posts, and locations. You can narrow this down by clicking posts.
The results will only display posts from people who have used the hashtags in their posts. If you’re looking for more general posts, you should use the search method explained above.

Click on your profile either on your PC or mobile, and scroll down to Resources which is right under Analytics. Tap on Show all (number) resources. It will take you to a page like the one below.
You can also find saved posts on the home page :
Click on My Items, then navigate to Saved Posts and Articles. This will take you to every post you’ve saved on the platform. Saving top posts from creators in your field can help improve your LinkedIn content. You can learn from their writing style.
Bookmark the page
If you're using your desktop, another convenient way to keep track of valuable posts is by bookmarking the page. You can easily bookmark the post's page and revisit it later by finding it in your browser's bookmarks.
Copy the link
Another handy option is to copy the link of the post and save it for later reference. This way, you can easily revisit the post by clicking on the link. Here's how you can do it:
Click on the three dots that appear in the top right corner of the post.
Select Share via from the options that appear.
Choose Copy link from the sharing options.
Once you've copied the link, you can paste it into a document, note, or any other place where you keep your saved links. This method allows you to quickly access the post by clicking on the link whenever you need to refer back to it.
