Metrics on MagicPost
On LinkedIn, over 90% of people who post do not take the time to analyze their statistics. However, performance analysis is essential for progressing and optimizing your long-term content strategy. Therefore, MagicPost has developed a simple, visual, and easy-to-use metrics analysis feature for everyday use.
Discovering the MagicPost Analysis Interface
The MagicPost analysis tool consists of three main tabs, with the ability to select the period to analyze (for example, the last six months).
Publication Summary: Displayed in list or table format of your latest posts. You can filter by period, sort by performance (best/worst posts), number of comments, or date, and access the publication directly on LinkedIn.
Evolution Infographic: Visualize the evolution of your activity over the selected period: number of posts published, average likes (to track progress), weekly posting frequency, format distribution (images, carousels, etc.), main topics addressed, posting times, and content types (educational, promotional, inspirational, introspective).
Interface Customization: You can adapt the color of the interface to your graphic charter for better visual comfort.
Advanced Performance Analysis
Analysis of the Best Headlines: Identify the headlines that performed best over the period, to reuse them or understand the structures that resonate with your audience.
Summary of the Characteristics of the Best Posts: Discover the days, times, themes, and formats that generate the most engagement (e.g., Tuesday at 1 PM, social media theme, etc.).
Analysis of Optimal Days and Times: Identify the days and times when your posts perform best (e.g., Tuesday and Thursday at 2 PM).
Volume vs Performance Comparison: Compare the volume of each type of post (informative, promotional, inspirational, etc.) to their performance. For example, if inspirational posts are few but highly effective, it may indicate that it would be relevant to publish more of them.
Performance by Theme: Visualize the average likes according to the themes addressed to identify the most engaging topics.
Compare Your Statistics with Other Creators
With the "other profile" button, you can analyze the statistics of any content creator on LinkedIn (for example, yours, a colleague's, or an influencer like Justin Welsh). This allows you to draw inspiration from the best headlines or strategies of other profiles and optimize your own content.
Current Limits of the Analysis
As of today, MagicPost cannot display certain private metrics such as the number of followers or profile views, as LinkedIn does not allow access to this data. To track this information, you need to check your LinkedIn profile directly.
In Summary
MagicPost makes it easy to analyze your LinkedIn performance with a clear and customizable interface.
You can quickly identify what works, compare your results to other creators, and adjust your content strategy.
Regularly analyzing your metrics is a powerful lever for progressing on LinkedIn.
