Human behavior is one of LinkedIn's favorite subjects: we count 26,949 psychology posts in the last 12 months in our dataset alone. Almost all of them vanish. The typical psychology post earns 38 likes.

So who actually moves the needle when they write about how people think and feel? At MagicPost, we took the 394 creators in our dataset who post about psychology consistently (at least 10 psychology posts in the last 12 months, minimum 5,000 followers) and ranked them by median likes on their psychology posts alone. Not their overall fame: what happens, today, when they hit publish on this specific topic. Number twenty earns 38 times the typical psychology post. Number one earns 189 times it.

Two numbers you will not find anywhere else sit in each profile below: the share of feed (is psychology their life or a guest appearance?) and the vs-overall figure: whether their psychology posts earn more or less than their own usual median. Spoiler: for this theme the surprise runs the other way. Many of the biggest names earn less on psychology than on their core content, and the real winners are the ones who almost never write about it.

The full board first, then the countdown:

Top 20 LinkedIn creators on psychology, ranked by real impact

TL;DR: We ranked the top 20 LinkedIn creators on Psychology by one number nobody else publishes: median likes on their psychology posts alone, over 12 months and 394 creators. Adam Grant leads with 7,195 median likes per psychology post, 189x what the typical psychology post earns (38 likes).

Adam Grant, organizational psychologist at Wharton and bestselling author of Think Again, tops this ranking on home turf: 7,195 median likes per psychology post, 1.7 times the #2 and 189 times the typical psychology post on LinkedIn. The data holds one twist. Psychology is only 11% of his feed, and those posts earn 49% less than his overall median: even his subject-of-record posts sit below his usual ceiling, because his usual ceiling is the highest in the field. This is his third #1 in our theme series after Leadership and Marketing.

"People pleasing is not about concern for others. It's about concern for their acceptance and approval." His most liked psychology post of the year: 14,280 likes. Read it

Where do these cards come from? Every figure on this page runs on MagicPost's LinkedIn analytics: median engagement per theme, share of feed, theme premiums, trajectories, across 394 psychology creators and 26,949 psychology posts. It works on your profile too, including a side-by-side with anyone on this list.

Just missed the cut

Five names land right behind, and they say a lot about how this ranking works. George Stern (#21, 1,346 median likes per psychology post), Sibel Terhaar (#22, 1,338) and Sahil Bloom (#23, 1,296) miss the cut by a handful of likes of median. Bloom is the structural case: he published 77 psychology posts in 12 months, far more than most of the top 20, and a median is merciless with volume, since every additional post has to beat your typical one. Jade Bonacolta (#24, 1,214) and Jalonni Weaver (#25, 1,174) close the list. Publish less, hit harder, and any of the five enters the top 20 at the next quarterly refresh.

The efficiency champions (pound for pound)

Raw likes favor big audiences, so here is the other cut: engagement rate on psychology posts, median likes divided by followers (minimum 20k followers). The list changes completely:

The volume game (total psychology engagement)

One more cut: not the typical post, but the total likes generated on psychology posts over 12 months. This is where the high-frequency voices get their due:

Mel Robbins generates the most total engagement, but it takes her 108 posts to get there. Simon Sinek reaches sixth place on just 17, three for every one Mel publishes: the clearest contrast on this page between volume and per-post impact.

The conversation champion

The ratio of comments to likes, the cut nobody publishes. The psychology record belongs to Dr. Angela Kerek: 161 median comments against 150 median likes on her psychology posts, more than one comment per like when the platform norm is one per ten. Her psychology feed is the busiest discussion space of this dataset.

The residents and the tourists

Of the 394 creators who post psychology consistently, only 19 dedicate more than half their feed to it. This top 20 splits the same way, but it leans heavily toward tourists: residents are almost absent here (Selina Hehl, at 48%, comes closest), while the list is full of visitors like Chase Dimond (2% of his feed), Codie Sanchez (4%) and Rob Dance (5%) whose rare psychology posts pull far above their usual reach.

The tourist premium is the headline finding of this theme. Chase Dimond earns 1,013% more on psychology than his overall median, James Caan 212%, Codie Sanchez 165%: audiences that did not sign up for psychology reward a clear, human post when it arrives. Meanwhile the field's most credentialed name, Adam Grant, earns 49% less on psychology than on his usual content, because his usual content is the highest-performing in the field. If you write about how people think only occasionally, you are playing the easier game.

Two related studies while you are here: who dominates LinkedIn country by country (United States, France, India, the full series), and the rest of the theme series, where Adam Grant also tops Leadership and Marketing. And if your plan includes showing up in these creators' comments, an engagement feed makes that a daily five-minute habit.

Study them, then study yourself. With MagicPost you can analyze any psychology creator the way we just did (median engagement by theme, share of feed, premiums, trajectory) and benchmark your own profile. The data on this page is the product.

Where this data comes from

Everything in this article is MagicPost's own research, not a copied list. MagicPost analyzed 26,949 psychology-themed LinkedIn posts from the last 12 months, kept the 394 creators with at least 10 psychology posts and 5,000 followers (deleted posts excluded, company pages excluded), and ranked them by median likes on their psychology posts. We also computed each creator's share of feed, their psychology premium versus their own overall median, engagement rates and conversation ratios. Rankings refresh as the data does; figures dated June 2026. No one paid to be on this list, and no one can: it is arithmetic.

Preguntas frecuentes

Who is the top psychology creator on LinkedIn in 2026?

By real impact (median likes on psychology posts over the last 12 months), Adam Grant: 7,195 median likes per psychology post, 1.7 times the number two (Simon Sinek) and 189 times the typical psychology post on LinkedIn.

How is this ranking calculated?

Median likes on each creator's psychology-themed posts over the last 12 months, among the 394 creators MagicPost analyzes with at least 10 psychology posts and 5,000 followers. Median, not average, so one viral post cannot buy a spot, and only psychology posts count, so general fame cannot either.

Does posting about psychology boost engagement on LinkedIn?

It depends who you are. The effect is strongest for "tourists" whose feed is mostly about something else: Chase Dimond earns 1,013% more on psychology than his overall median, Codie Sanchez 165%. But the most prolific psychology specialists often earn less than their own average, and the typical psychology post still earns just 38 likes: the topic rewards clarity, not participation.

Who are the most efficient psychology creators?

By engagement rate on psychology posts (median likes / followers, minimum 20k followers): Selina Hehl of Austria (4.52%), ahead of Joshua Freedman of Six Seconds (2.67%), James Ware (2.42%) and Wolfgang Jenewein (1.24%).

Are the top psychology voices full-time psychology creators?

Mostly not. Only 19 of the 394 eligible creators dedicate more than half their feed to psychology, and this top 20 is dominated by business and self-development creators for whom human behavior is an occasional subject, not the core strategy. The closest thing to a specialist in the top 20 is Selina Hehl, at 48% of her feed.

Which countries dominate psychology content on LinkedIn?

Most of this top 20 is based in the United States, with India (Raj Shamani, Ankur Warikoo) and the United Kingdom (Ken Cheng, Rob Dance, James Caan) placing two each, and Austria, Canada and France one each. Country-by-country rankings are in our country series.
