Cómo generar un carrusel de LinkedIn con IA

MagicPost generates a full LinkedIn carousel from one of your posts, a topic, a URL or a file. MagicPost writes and lays out every slide, you edit the result, then you export it as a PDF or add it to a post. Carousel generation is included in Creator, Agency y Team. The Growth plan does not include it.

On the MagicPost Agency plan, a member on a specialized seat type (Growth, Analytics or Engagement) has no media generation, so no carousel generation. See Everything in the Agency plan.

MagicPost carousels live in the Carousels tab of the Media page. This tab carries a Beta badge. For the other generation tools, read can MagicPost generate visuals and carousels or the LinkedIn carousel generator page.

  1. In the MagicPost sidebar, open Media under Manage, then the Carousels tab.

  2. Click New carousel, then Generate with AI. If you have no carousel yet, Generate with AI is directly on the page.

  3. In the Generate a carousel with AI window, choose a source: One of my posts, Topic, URL or File. Then select the post, type the topic, paste the URL or drop the file.

  4. Click Continue.

  5. On the Choose a template screen, pick a style under My brand kit or under Preset styles.

  6. Set the Number of slides. Auto lets MagicPost decide the length from your source.

  7. Click Generate carousel. MagicPost writes and lays out the slides, then opens the carousel editor.

For the File source, the MagicPost drop zone accepts PDF, Word, text and Markdown files. The maximum file size is shown in the drop zone.

Next to Preset styles, the colors menu of the MagicPost carousel wizard shows Template colors by default. It decides the palette of a preset style: Template colors, one of your brand kit styles, or Custom. A custom palette applies to this carousel only and is not saved in your brand kit.

The styles under My brand kit come from your MagicPost brand kit. Edit, next to that title, opens the kit without leaving the wizard. See how to set up my brand kit.

On a wide screen, the MagicPost carousel editor has three areas: the Copilot on the left, the slides in the middle, and a panel with the Design and Identity tabs on the right. MagicPost saves your changes automatically, and the header has undo and redo buttons.

Text. In the MagicPost carousel editor, click a text on a slide and type.

Slides. In the slide strip of the MagicPost editor, you add, duplicate, hide, delete and drag slides to reorder them. A hidden slide stays in the editor but is left out of the exported PDF. The strip shows "Maximum number of slides reached" when the carousel is full.

Slide type. On a selected slide, Change the slide type switches its layout in the MagicPost editor.

Images. On a slide that holds an image, Choose an image picks one from your MagicPost library. Frame shape sets the shape of its frame, and the dimming slider darkens the image so the text stays readable.

Copilot. In the MagicPost Copilot, type a request in the Request a change... field. Above the field, you choose whether the request targets the selected slide or The whole carousel. The Copilot also offers ready requests such as Make the hook more impactful, Shorten the text and Show my name on every slide. Each applied change can be undone.

Fonts. The Typography card of the MagicPost Design tab sets the font of the Titles and of the Body. Montserrat is offered for both.

The Design tab of the MagicPost carousel editor has a Layout card, between Background and Typography. Its settings apply to every slide of the carousel:

  • Text alignment: Left or Centered.

  • Cover and end slide with inverted colors: the Cover and Conclusion slides switch to inverted colors, for example a dark cover in a light carousel.

  • Icon above titles: adds an icon above the title of every Content slide. MagicPost starts with a check icon, and Content slide icon lets you pick another icon or an emoji.

In the MagicPost carousel editor, a slide you set differently from the Layout card keeps its own setting. On a selected slide, the alignment buttons of the slide toolbar and the Inverted colors switch in Settings show what the slide currently uses. Changing them affects that slide only.

The MagicPost icon above titles only appears on Content slides. To change it on one slide, click the icon on the slide and pick another one. Reset to carousel icon brings back the icon of the Layout card. To hide the icon on one slide, open Settings and turn off Icon under Elements.

The Indicators card of the MagicPost Design tab has a Swipe indicator switch. When it is on, Shape offers two choices:

  • Text button: a button on the cover. You edit its text in Indicator text.

  • Round arrow: a round arrow in the bottom row of the slide. Show on places it on the Cover only or on All slides, which is the default.

MagicPost never shows the swipe indicator on the last slide of the carousel or on a Conclusion slide.

The Layout settings and the swipe indicator shape belong to the MagicPost carousel style. Add this design to my styles, in the My brand kit card, saves them into your brand kit, and a carousel generated with that brand kit style starts with them. The Preset styles and the templates do not carry them. See how to set up my brand kit.

The MagicPost Copilot can also change the layout of the whole carousel. For example, ask "center everything", "dark cover and last slide", "an icon above each point title" or "an arrow on every slide".

Preview, export and publish

In the header of the MagicPost carousel editor, Preview opens the LinkedIn preview panel, which shows the carousel as it will appear in a LinkedIn post.

Export as PDF downloads the MagicPost carousel as a PDF and saves it to your media library. Add to a post attaches the carousel to a post. See how to add a carousel or visual to a LinkedIn post.

What counts against your allowance

When your MagicPost plan sets a cap, each carousel generation uses one generation and each Copilot change uses one AI edit. The wizard and the Copilot then show a gauge. When your plan sets no cap, MagicPost shows no gauge.

Editing a MagicPost carousel by hand is never counted. The caps of each plan are in how many visuals and carousels can I generate.

FAQ

Can I change the carousel format or ratio?

No. A MagicPost carousel has one fixed vertical format, the same for every slide. To choose between vertical, square and horizontal, generate an AI visual instead.

Can I create a carousel without AI?

Yes. In the Carousels tab, click New carousel, then Start from scratch for an empty carousel or Start from a template for a ready design. If you have no carousel yet, Start from scratch and Choose a template are directly on the page. Neither uses a generation. Both still require a MagicPost plan that includes media generation.

Why does the Copilot change only one slide?

The MagicPost Copilot targets the selected slide by default. Above the request field, select The whole carousel before you send the request.

Why doesn't one slide follow the Layout card?

That slide has its own setting. In MagicPost, a slide whose alignment or inverted colors you changed in the slide toolbar or in Settings keeps that choice when you change the Layout card. Select the slide and set it back to the value of the carousel to make it follow the card again.

Why is there no swipe arrow on my last slide?

MagicPost never shows the swipe indicator on the last slide or on a Conclusion slide, even with All slides selected. There is nothing left to swipe to.

MagicPost says carousel generation is not included in my plan. Why?

Your plan does not include media generation. MagicPost then shows "Carousel generation is not included in your plan" with a View plans button. Media generation is included in Creator, Agency y Team.
