Here is the number almost nobody tells you about LinkedIn in 2026: it is getting harder, not easier. Take the 525 creators MagicPost tracks who posted consistently in both the last 12 months and the 12 before. The median one watched their typical post lose 11% of its likes year over year. Standing still on LinkedIn means sliding backward.

Against that tide, only 203 of the 525 grew at all. And a much smaller group did something the math says should be almost impossible: they multiplied. We ranked every creator by the year-over-year growth of their median likes per post, current 12 months against the 12 before, and the 20 you are about to meet grew between +228% and +1,564% while the platform around them shrank.

The rules are strict on purpose. To qualify you needed at least 25 posts in each year (so this is a sustained climb, not one lucky quarter), a current median of at least 200 likes (real reach today, not a rounding error), and 5,000 followers minimum. The table on every card shows both numbers, now and a year ago, for one honest reason: growing from a median of 25 is a different feat than growing from 1,400, and you deserve to see which is which.

The full board first, then the countdown:

The fastest-rising LinkedIn creators in 2026, by the data

TL;DR: We ranked creators by year-over-year growth of their median likes. Context: the typical two-year-active creator DECLINED 11% this year. These 20 grew up to +1,564%; Joshua Freedman leads, from 67 to 1,115 median likes in a year.

Deniz Kavi is the CEO of Tamarind Bio, a Y Combinator biotech startup, and the only science founder on this list. His median post went from 96 likes to 315 in a year, and he did it on the smallest audience of the top 20: 9k followers, which is exactly why his 3.43% engagement rate is the highest card here. His best post of the year is a builder's gift to other builders.

He is the CEO of Six Seconds and writes about emotional intelligence and leadership, and the jump is visible in the raw evolution, a 93 median in 2024 against a 1,075 median across his most recent year. Where do these cards come from? Every figure on this page runs on MagicPost's LinkedIn analytics: median engagement, year-over-year trajectories, engagement rates and conversation ratios, across the 525 creators we track in both windows. It works on your profile too, including your own year-over-year trend line.

Just missed the cut

Five names land right behind the top 20, and each grew fast enough to make almost any other list. Kasey Brown (#21, +213%, from 130 to 407 median likes) and Ani Avetisyan (#22, +205%, 120 to 366) miss by a few points of growth. Melissa Campbell Porter (#23, +199%, 87 to 260) and Enzo di Taranto Capozzi (#24, +175%, 158 to 435) follow. Closing the list is Costas K. G. (#25, +169%), and his is the most impressive in absolute terms: a median that grew from 1,062 to 2,855, a four-figure climb on a 106k audience. He sits outside the top 20 only because percentage growth from a high base is mathematically harder, exactly the volatility the two-number table is built to surface.

The efficiency champions (pound for pound)

Growth is one lens; raw efficiency is another. Here is the engagement rate cut, median likes divided by followers, among the fast risers:

G. is the standout, holding 2.69% on a 106k audience, far larger than the others on this cut. Note one name here who is not a runaway riser: Mati Staniszewski, co-founder of ElevenLabs, whose median barely moved year over year (+13%) but whose efficiency was always elite.

The volume game (highest absolute medians)

One more way to read the climb: not the percentage, but where these creators actually landed. These are the highest current medians among the fast risers:

Mike Leber is in a tier of his own here: a 5,437 median is four times the next creator on the list, and he reached it while posting more than almost anyone (246 times). The reading is simple: most of the steepest percentage climbs start small, but a handful of risers, Leber, Grancea, Freedman, are now genuine heavyweights in raw reach.

The conversation champion

The ratio of comments to likes is the cut nobody publishes. Among the risers it belongs to George Stock, founder of MakeUGC: 618 median comments against 202 median likes, more than three comments for every like, when the platform norm is closer to one comment per ten likes. Right behind him is our number-six riser Eric Djavid, at nearly two comments per like, who holds the conversation crown in our France ranking too. The pattern these two share: a comment section that is busier than the like count, the rarest engagement profile in the dataset.

What the risers have in common

The clearest pattern is the one in every table: growth from a small base is mechanically easier than growth at scale. Sixteen of the 20 started below a 200 median; the steepest climbs of all, Laetitia Hioby (+716%, from a median of 25), Eric Djavid (+748%, from 31), Gloria Norvor (+973%, from 26), all began near the floor. That is exactly why each card shows both numbers. The genuinely rare cases sit at the other end: Mike Leber grew +288% from a 1,403 median, and Cristina Grancea +416% from 255. Multiplying a four-figure median is the hardest thing on this list.

The second pattern is geographic spread. This is not a Silicon Valley story. The 20 risers span the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Pakistan, Belgium, Austria, Ghana, Kenya and Cameroon. The US leads with five names (Joshua Freedman, Lindsay Linhart, Grant Lee, Daniel Hemhauser, Deniz Kavi) and India with four (Tilak Pujari, Sanvi Khandelwal, Kartik B., Joyeeta Sinha), and the fastest growth often comes from the smaller markets. Country-by-country detail lives in our United States ranking, India ranking, UK ranking, Germany ranking, France ranking and Pakistan ranking.

The third is audience size: most risers are mid-sized accounts, not mega-influencers. Fourteen of the 20 sit under 60k followers, and only one (Mike Leber) clears 250k. The lesson the data keeps repeating is that you do not need a giant following to be the fastest-growing voice in your corner of LinkedIn, you need resonance the median can see. If you want the other side of this picture, the creators who are already at the top rather than climbing toward it, the creators pillar and the worldwide ranking (the top creators worldwide) are the sister pages to this one. And if part of your plan is showing up early in the risers' comments, an engagement feed makes that a daily five-minute habit.

Track your own climb. With MagicPost you can measure any creator the way we just did, median engagement, year-over-year growth, engagement rate, conversation ratio, and benchmark your own profile against the risers. The data on this page is the product.

Where this data comes from

Everything in this article is MagicPost's own research, not a copied list. MagicPost compared each tracked creator's last 12 months against the 12 before, kept the 525 creators with at least 25 posts in each window, a current median of at least 200 likes and 5,000 followers (deleted posts excluded, company pages excluded), and ranked them by the year-over-year growth of their median likes per post. We also computed engagement rates, conversation ratios and the full yearly trajectory behind each climb. Rankings refresh as the data does; figures dated June 2026. No one paid to be on this list, and no one can: it is arithmetic.

By year-over-year growth of median likes per post, Joshua Freedman: his median went from 67 likes a year ago to 1,115 now, a +1,564% climb that leads the entire dataset.

How is this ranking calculated?

We compared each creator's median likes per post over the last 12 months against the 12 before, among the 525 creators MagicPost tracks who cleared the floors: at least 25 posts in each window, a current median of at least 200 likes, and 5,000 followers. Median, not average, so one viral post cannot buy a spot.

Is LinkedIn engagement growing in 2026?

For most creators, no. The median creator in our two-year sample saw their typical post lose 11% of its likes year over year, and only 203 of the 525 grew at all. The 20 on this list are the rare exceptions who multiplied while the platform shrank.

Why does a creator growing from 25 likes rank above one growing from 1,400?

Because the ranking measures percentage growth, and climbing from a small base is mechanically easier than climbing at scale. We show both the current and prior median on every card precisely so you can judge each climb honestly: multiplying a four-figure median, as Mike Leber did, is far rarer than multiplying a two-figure one.

Which countries produce the fastest-rising creators?

The top 20 spans eleven countries, led by the United States (five) and India (four), with the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Pakistan, Belgium, Austria, Ghana, Kenya and Cameroon also represented. Country-by-country rankings are in our country series.

Do these creators have huge audiences?

Mostly not. Fourteen of the 20 sit under 60,000 followers and only one clears 250,000. The fastest growth on LinkedIn in 2026 is coming from mid-sized accounts with high resonance, not from the platform's biggest names.
