Como gerar e baixar minha Retrospectiva do LinkedIn

The MagicPost LinkedIn Wrapped is a one-page recap of your LinkedIn year: posts published, likes, followers gained, best days, formats, top posts and themes. You generate the Wrapped once per year, customize it, then download it as an image or turn it into a post. The Wrapped is free: it needs a MagicPost account and a connected LinkedIn account, on any plan and without a subscription.

The current MagicPost Wrapped covers the year 2026. MagicPost promotes it to all accounts from December 7, 2026 to January 10, 2027, and opens it earlier to people who come from the LinkedIn Wrapped page or article on magicpost.in.

In the English interface of MagicPost the page is called Wrapped. In the other languages, MagicPost shows its own translation of "Retrospective", for example Rétrospective in French. All these names point to the same page. To see an example before you create an account, open the LinkedIn Wrapped page.

The Wrapped is not the metrics dashboard

MagicPost has two ways of looking at your LinkedIn numbers, and they answer different questions:

  • The Wrapped is a single shareable image that sums up one calendar year. It is free, and it is mostly useful in December and January.

  • The metrics dashboard is the interactive page you use all year: four tabs (Reporting, Posts, Audience, Benchmarks), a date range you choose, sortable columns, a CSV export and a report. The metrics dashboard is included in Growth, Creator, Agency e Team.

The rest of this article is about the MagicPost Wrapped only.

What you need

  1. A MagicPost account. A free account is enough. The Wrapped needs no paid plan.

  2. Your LinkedIn account connected to MagicPost. The connection goes through LinkedIn's official sign-in, and MagicPost reads your data from LinkedIn's official API as a verified partner.

The LinkedIn connection must include the impressions and followers permission. If your LinkedIn account is not connected to MagicPost, or lacks that permission, Generate my wrapped opens the LinkedIn connection window. The generation of the Wrapped starts once the connection and the permission are in place.

If you already have a MagicPost Wrapped and your LinkedIn account is no longer connected, the Wrapped page shows Your LinkedIn account is not connected with a Connect LinkedIn button.

How to generate your Wrapped

  1. Open the Wrapped page in MagicPost.

  2. Click Generate my wrapped.

  3. Wait while MagicPost fetches your posts and your follower history for the year. The generation can take a few minutes.

The current MagicPost Wrapped covers the year 2026, even when you generate it in January 2027. After the season ends, the Wrapped page keeps showing your 2026 Wrapped until MagicPost opens the Wrapped of the next year.

MagicPost keeps one Wrapped per year. When MagicPost opens the Wrapped of a new year, Generate my wrapped comes back, even if you generated a Wrapped the year before, and the Wrapped of the previous year is no longer shown on the page. To keep the Wrapped of a year, download it.

The confirmation email

After the first generation of your Wrapped, MagicPost sends a confirmation email to the address of your MagicPost account. The email links to the Wrapped page, where you can customize your Wrapped and download it. The download works from a computer, in Chrome, Firefox or Edge. The email can also contain a LinkedIn post written for your Wrapped.

MagicPost sends one confirmation email per Wrapped. Refreshing the data of your Wrapped does not send a new email.

Where to find the Wrapped in MagicPost

The MagicPost Wrapped season runs from December 7, 2026 to January 10, 2027, based on the date of your device. During the season, MagicPost can show two shortcuts to the Wrapped page:

  • A banner at the top of MagicPost with a Generate my wrapped button. Click it to open the Wrapped page, or close it.

  • A Wrapped button at the bottom of the sidebar, with "Your year in review" under it when the sidebar is expanded.

The MagicPost Wrapped banner and sidebar button depend on your account during the season:

  • Free accounts, free trial included, see the banner and the button, whether or not LinkedIn is connected.

  • Paid and organization accounts with a connected LinkedIn account see the banner and the button.

  • Paid and organization accounts without a connected LinkedIn account see neither. For them, the Wrapped is only in the profile menu.

During the season, every MagicPost account also has a Wrapped entry in the profile menu, and in the menu on a phone. After January 10, 2027, these entries disappear, except for accounts with early access. The Wrapped page still exists: the button on the LinkedIn Wrapped page opens it.

After you generate your MagicPost Wrapped, the banner disappears for good. The sidebar button stays for one day, or for seven days if you came from the LinkedIn Wrapped page or article. After that, open your Wrapped from the Wrapped entry of the profile menu.

While the MagicPost Wrapped button takes the bottom of the sidebar, a free account finds its trial information in the profile menu instead.

Early access from magicpost.in

MagicPost opens the Wrapped early for people who click through from the LinkedIn Wrapped page or the LinkedIn Wrapped article on magicpost.in. After that click, the banner and the sidebar button show up right away, before December 7, and stay with no end date until you generate your Wrapped. The Wrapped entry of the profile menu stays after the season ends.

The early access to the MagicPost Wrapped is saved on your MagicPost account, so it follows you on every device where you sign in. It is valid for one year's Wrapped: the Wrapped of the next year needs a new click from the LinkedIn Wrapped page or article.

If you have no MagicPost account yet, the buttons on the LinkedIn Wrapped page and article lead to a sign-up page made for the Wrapped. After you create your account, MagicPost asks you to connect your LinkedIn account, then View my LinkedIn recap takes you to the Wrapped page. If you already have an account, click Already registered? Log in on that sign-up page: MagicPost opens the Wrapped page after you log in.

What is on the Wrapped

  • Your profile and your followers: your follower count and how many followers you gained over the year.

  • The evolution chart: a monthly curve. A selector on the chart switches it between followers, impressions, likes and comments.

  • Three key figures: number of posts, average likes and followers gained.

  • Days of the week: your average likes per day.

  • Post formats: image, video, carousel, text and document.

  • The 3 best posts of the year.

  • Main themes: the subjects you wrote about.

The MagicPost Wrapped carries a "Made with MagicPost" mention at the bottom of the profile card.

What the numbers mean

An "average" on the MagicPost Wrapped is a median. One viral post would pull a true average far above what your posts usually do, so MagicPost computes the median and labels it "average" for readability.

"Followers gained" on the MagicPost Wrapped counts only the followers you gained. People who unfollowed you are not deducted, so the figure is a gross gain, not a net one.

The themes of the MagicPost Wrapped are detected automatically. MagicPost classifies each post against a predefined list of themes, so the result is a reading of your year, not a manual classification.

How to customize the Wrapped

Customize opens the identity settings of the MagicPost Wrapped: profile photo, first name, last name and job title. The photo you upload there is temporary and used for the export only. Nothing changes on your LinkedIn profile.

The colored square next to Customize opens the color settings of the Wrapped. You pick the main color and a Background pattern: None, Dots, Blurred, Hatched, Vertical or Diagonal.

How to download the Wrapped or post it

Download saves the MagicPost Wrapped as a PNG image, ready to share anywhere.

Post ready to publish prepares a LinkedIn post for you. MagicPost writes a post from your own figures, attaches the image of your Wrapped, and opens the post so you can edit it, schedule it or publish it.

Generating the Wrapped post and publishing it right away need no paid plan. Scheduling the Wrapped post for a later date does: scheduling is included in Growth, Creator, Agency e Team, and it is open during the free trial. On a free MagicPost account without a trial, the Schedule post button carries a lock and opens an upgrade prompt.

Three limits apply to the MagicPost Wrapped:

  • Safari is not supported, for the download and for Post ready to publish. Use Chrome, Firefox or Edge.

  • The download does not work on a phone or in a narrow browser window. MagicPost shows Download not available on mobile. Use a computer.

  • Post ready to publish and Refresh data are shown on a computer only.

FAQ

Is the MagicPost LinkedIn Wrapped free?

Yes. The MagicPost Wrapped needs a MagicPost account and a connected LinkedIn account, and no paid plan. One step is not free: scheduling the post made from your Wrapped for a later date is included in Growth, Creator, Agency e Team and open during the free trial. The metrics dashboard is a separate feature, included in Growth, Creator, Agency e Team.

Which year does the Wrapped cover?

The current MagicPost Wrapped covers the year 2026, including when you generate it in January 2027. The Wrapped page keeps showing the 2026 Wrapped until MagicPost opens the Wrapped of the next year.

I generated a Wrapped last year. Why does MagicPost ask me to generate it again?

MagicPost makes one Wrapped per year. A Wrapped generated for 2025 does not carry over to 2026: click Generate my wrapped to create your 2026 Wrapped. The Wrapped of the previous year is no longer shown on the page.

Can I get my Wrapped before December 7?

Yes, if you reach MagicPost from the LinkedIn Wrapped page or the LinkedIn Wrapped article on magicpost.in. MagicPost then shows the Wrapped banner and sidebar button for your account right away, with no end date until you generate your Wrapped. Without that click, the Wrapped shortcuts appear on December 7, 2026.

Why don't I see the Wrapped banner?

The MagicPost Wrapped banner shows only during the season or with early access, and only until you generate your Wrapped. A paid or organization account also needs a connected LinkedIn account. MagicPost shows one banner at a time, so another message can take its place.

I closed the Wrapped banner. Will it come back?

Not in that browser. Closing the MagicPost Wrapped banner hides it in the browser where you closed it, for this year's Wrapped. The sidebar button and the Wrapped entry of the profile menu stay.

I did not receive the confirmation email. Can I still get my Wrapped?

Yes. The MagicPost Wrapped stays on the Wrapped page of your account, with or without the email. Open the Wrapped page in MagicPost, on a computer, to customize and download it.

Can I refresh the numbers of my Wrapped?

Yes, once a day. Click Refresh data on the Wrapped page, on a computer. The button disappears once you have used it, and comes back the next day.

Why are some figures missing on my Wrapped?

Impressions and follower figures need the matching permission on your LinkedIn connection. Without it, the MagicPost Wrapped shows average comments in place of followers gained. Reconnect LinkedIn and accept the permissions to get the full Wrapped. See how to renew your LinkedIn connection.

Can I share a link to my Wrapped?

No. The MagicPost Wrapped has no public link. Download the image and share it, or use Post ready to publish to post it on LinkedIn.

Why does the download not work?

The download of the MagicPost Wrapped is blocked in Safari and on a phone. Open MagicPost in Chrome, Firefox or Edge, on a computer, then click Download again.

Where does the Wrapped data come from?

The MagicPost Wrapped uses your posts and your follower history, read from LinkedIn's official API. It is the same source as the metrics dashboard. On the Wrapped page, on a computer, hover Where does this data come from? to read how the figures are computed.
