Ismael Briasco describes himself as a "Mentor de líderes que quieren dejar huella" (mentor for leaders who want to leave a mark), and he is one of the most-followed Spanish-language voices on the platform. But the single most striking thing about him is invisible to a human reader and obvious in the data: of every LinkedIn creator MagicPost tracks, he is the heaviest user of the "It's not X, it's Y" contrast move, which shows up in 60% of his posts. We analyzed 288 of his LinkedIn posts from the last two years: what he writes, when, for whom, and the one rhetorical reflex that runs through almost everything he publishes.

This is who Ismael Briasco is, according to the best source: his own posts, measured.

Ismael Briasco: identity card with key LinkedIn numbers

His story, in his own posts

Briasco does not hide his origin story. It comes up again and again, and the data shows which chapters he considers load-bearing.

The technical past. Before mentoring and marketing, he was a systems man. "Pasé 25 años desarmando cosas para entender cómo funcionan. Computadoras, negocios, modelos mentales propios y ajenos" ("I spent 25 years taking things apart to understand how they work. Computers, businesses, my own and others' mental models."). He returns to it as a fault line: in a post on marketing he recalls being thrown into a marketing role straight from "el mundo técnico. De administrar servidores" ("the technical world. Administering servers.").

The 20-plus years of building. His authority claim is tenure. "Después de más de 20 años emprendiendo, aprendí que el liderazgo no se trata de dirigir, sino de habilitar" ("After more than 20 years as an entrepreneur, I learned that leadership is not about directing, but about enabling."). He is candid about the personality cost of that climb, calling his younger self "pragmático, directo, e intolerante" ("pragmatic, direct, and intolerant"), the type who got annoyed explaining something a third time.

The father. His most-liked introspective post is not about business at all. When his son Lucca was born, he wrote: "Siempre hablo de estrategia, crecimiento y negocios, pero hoy quiero hablar de algo más profundo" ("I always talk about strategy, growth and business, but today I want to talk about something deeper."). It earned 948 likes, far above his median.

The reinvention thesis. The through-line of his brand is that he has remade himself repeatedly: "Me reinventé varias veces en mi vida. Y aprendí que la transformación no ocurre por casualidad" ("I reinvented myself several times in my life. And I learned that transformation does not happen by chance."). Today that thesis has a brand name he repeats constantly, "Liderazgo Aumentado" (Augmented Leadership), his framing for leaders learning to work with AI.

What he actually talks about

What Ismael Briasco talks about on LinkedIn, measured by topic

Three themes carry his feed, and they are unusually balanced. Coaching is the plurality at 55% of his analyzed posts, with Leadership (23%) and Entrepreneurship (22%) close behind. Two things stand out beyond the ranking:

  • Coaching is also his best-performing theme (about 45 median likes versus 33 for Leadership and 38 for Entrepreneurship). His biggest theme is also his best theme, an alignment rarer than it sounds.

  • By register rather than topic, his largest bucket is hard-hitting standalone advice, with a meaningful second cluster built to drive sign-ups: webinar and workshop registrations, selling through value. Briasco is a teacher who happily converts attention into a comment-to-DM funnel, and he does it openly ("Comentá COWORK y te mando el enlace").

Who he writes for

His reader is explicit: founders, leaders and teams who feel they are falling behind on AI. In one post he names them: "líderes, founders y equipos probando IA con expectativas altísimas... pero con prompts vagos" ("leaders, founders and teams trying AI with sky-high expectations... but with vague prompts."). He also writes to the leader who feels alone at the top, quoting the confession he hears most: "Tengo una red enorme. Pero no tengo pares" ("I have a huge network. But I have no peers."). The offer matches the reader: workshops, a leaders' club, and prompts to turn AI into a working system.

His best posts of 2026

His biggest posts of 2026 so far, reproduced from our data (click through to the originals):

Ismael Briasco's top 2026 post: Google's operating system of agents

236 likes. A long analysis of a Google product event reframed as a strategy lesson ("La IA deja de ser una ventana. Empieza a ser infraestructura"). It rides a wave of one-line paragraphs to a single closing question.

Ismael Briasco on turning Claude into a work system

174 likes. A numbered how-to for using an AI assistant as an operating system, wrapped in a workshop pitch: useful before commercial, with the sale at the very end.

Ismael Briasco on prompting and leadership

108 likes. The purest example of his favorite move, opening on it: "No es que Claude 4.7 responda mal. Le estás pidiendo mal" ("It's not that Claude 4.7 answers badly. You're asking badly."). One inversion, and the whole post unfolds from it.

Is he still growing?

Ismael Briasco's median likes per post, year by year

Here the data is honest in a way a bio never is. His median post fell from 83 likes in 2024 to 50 in 2025 to 19 so far in 2026, even as his following climbed past 163,000. This is the "reach compression" arc we see across many top creators since 2024-2025: the audience grows, but the median post earns fewer reactions as the feed gets more crowded and the content shifts toward longer AI explainers. One honest note on method: we measure engagement, not follower count over time, so this is how hard each post lands, not the size of his audience, which is still rising. The takeaway is not "he is fading," it is that his everyday posts now work harder for fewer likes, which makes his rare breakout posts (like the one about his son's birth) all the more revealing about what his audience actually rewards.

Where do these charts come from? Everything on this page runs on MagicPost's LinkedIn analytics, and it works on your profile too: your best posts, your audience, your benchmark, even a side-by-side with creators like Ismael Briasco.

The headline is not length, it is rhythm and decoration. His posts run a bit shorter than average (about 153 words), but the real signature is the staircase: short hooks (7 words), short paragraphs (10 words), short sentences (8 words), each line landing alone with air around it. On top of that skeleton he loads ornament most creators have dropped: five emojis a post against the average two, and ten hashtags against an average of zero (his most-used by far is the recycling arrows, the share-this signal). And his hooks almost never lean on a number (5% versus the typical 22%): he opens on a statement or a provocation, not a statistic. Conversational, emoji-rich, built to be skimmed.

The "AI tells" in his style (read this the right way)

Run Briasco's writing through the patterns people now call "AI tells," and one number jumps off the page:

The AI-pattern fingerprint of Ismael Briasco's style

Six in ten of his posts use the "It's not X, it's Y" contrast formula, the single most flagged "AI" pattern on LinkedIn, and that 60% is the highest rate of any creator we track. You can hear it everywhere: "No es que Claude responda mal. Le estás pidiendo mal." "Liderar no es mandar, es conectar." "La IA deja de ser una ventana. Empieza a ser infraestructura." Another 60% close on a question, 40% run on an explicit advice frame, and a third deploy "the real problem is..." reveals.

Do not read it backwards. Briasco does not write like an AI; AI writes like Briasco. These patterns read as robotic today precisely because the models trained on the best creators of this platform, people who built whole audiences on the contrast move, then bolted every device on at once. Briasco built his voice on the inversion years before the models could copy it, and he uses it where it earns its place. The other half of the fingerprint is what the machine cannot resist adding and he refuses: he never hedges ("it's worth noting that..."), and never opens a line with "Moreover." The restraint is the signature. (Full story: how to spot AI writing on LinkedIn.)

When he posts

Briasco publishes about 3 to 4 times a week, favorite slot Tuesday around 7 AM, with 31% of his posts in the morning and 19% on weekends. That early-morning, mid-week rhythm sits right inside the window our timing research keeps surfacing, and his cadence matches what our posting-frequency study calls the sustainable lane: enough to stay top-of-feed, not so much it burns out. And if part of your own playbook is showing up in his comments, that is exactly what an engagement feed is for: his posts, every day, without hunting the timeline.

What to steal from Ismael Briasco

  1. One inversion per post, not six tricks. The contrast move ("it's not X, it's Y") is his whole engine, and it works because he leads with it instead of stacking it on five other patterns. One sharp reframe beats a wall of devices.

  2. Build the staircase. Short hook, short paragraphs, one idea per line. His 8-word sentences make a 150-word post feel effortless to read on a phone.

  3. Name your framework and repeat it. "Liderazgo Aumentado" appears again and again until it is his, not a generic idea. A repeated label compounds.

  4. Sell at the end, give first. His workshop posts teach a full method, then ask for the comment.

  5. Let the personal post breathe. His highest-engagement introspective post stepped away from strategy entirely. When the human shows up, the audience does too.

Study him, then study yourself. With MagicPost you can dig into Ismael Briasco's numbers the way we just did, analyze your own LinkedIn analytics with the same depth, and write in the spirit of his style, in your own voice. The data on this page is the product.

Where this data comes from

Everything here is MagicPost's own research. We analyzed 288 Ismael Briasco posts from the last two years: timing, engagement, topics, writing metrics, and the AI-pattern profile from a 30-post style sample (analyzed in the original Spanish). Every biographical claim is quoted from one of his own public LinkedIn posts and linked to it. Briasco is not affiliated with MagicPost; his style is one of those we track most closely, and his contrast-formula rate is the highest in our entire catalog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Ismael Briasco?

A Spanish-language LinkedIn creator with about 163,000 followers, a mentor and speaker on personal branding, leadership and digital business who came from a 25-year technical and entrepreneurial background. He is CEO of LinkedUp, co-founder of NIXGrowth, an author, and brands his approach "Liderazgo Aumentado" (Augmented Leadership).

How does Ismael Briasco make money?

By his own public account: mentoring and a leaders' club, paid workshops (including his recurring "Claude Cowork" workshop), speaking, and his book on the power of LinkedIn. He routinely uses comment-to-DM funnels to drive sign-ups.

How often does Ismael Briasco post on LinkedIn?

About 3 to 4 times a week in our data, most often around 7 AM on Tuesdays, with roughly a fifth of his posts on weekends.

Does Ismael Briasco write with AI?

His voice was built on the contrast move long before AI tools could copy it, and 60% of his posts use the "It's not X, it's Y" pattern people now mislabel as an AI tell, the highest rate of any creator we track. The twist is that AI learned that move from creators like him, and he never adds the filler AI piles on (no hedging, no "Moreover").

Is Ismael Briasco still growing on LinkedIn?

His following keeps climbing past 163,000, but his median likes per post fell from 83 in 2024 to 19 in 2026, the same reach-compression arc many top creators show as the feed gets more crowded.

Can I write like Ismael Briasco?

You can learn the mechanics: MagicPost learns a creator's writing style (length, rhythm, hooks, signature moves like his contrast formula) and helps you write in that spirit, in your voice.
