Marketing is the most crowded topic on LinkedIn: we count 52,012 marketing posts in the last 12 months in our dataset alone. Almost all of them vanish. The typical marketing post earns 30 likes.

So who actually moves the needle when they talk about marketing? At MagicPost, we took the 944 creators in our dataset who post about marketing consistently (at least 10 marketing posts in the last 12 months, minimum 5,000 followers) and ranked them by median likes on their marketing posts alone. Not their overall fame: what happens, today, when they hit publish on this specific topic. Number twenty earns 25 times the typical marketing post. Number one earns 589 times it.

Two numbers you will not find anywhere else sit in each profile below: the share of feed (is marketing their life or a guest appearance?) and the vs-overall figure: whether their marketing posts earn more or less than their own usual median. The headline finding of this ranking is hiding in those two columns, and we come back to it at the end.

The full board first, then the countdown:

Top 20 LinkedIn creators on marketing, ranked by real impact

TL;DR: We ranked the top 20 LinkedIn creators on Marketing by one number nobody else publishes: median likes on their marketing posts alone, over 12 months and 944 creators. Adam Grant leads with 17,676 median likes per marketing post, 589x what the typical marketing post earns (30 likes).

Where do these cards come from? Every figure on this page runs on MagicPost's LinkedIn analytics: median engagement per theme, share of feed, theme premiums, trajectories, across 944 marketing creators and 52,012 marketing posts. It works on your profile too, including a side-by-side with anyone on this list.

Just missed the cut

Five names land right behind, and they say a lot about how this ranking works. Todd Kaplan (#21, 727 median likes per marketing post) is the most dedicated of the near-misses, with marketing at 46% of his feed. Simi Arora (#22, 718) and Will McTighe (#23, 714) follow, the latter a well-known B2B marketing voice excluded for a structural reason: a median is merciless with volume, and McTighe ships steadily while his typical post stays where it is. Then Charlie Hills (#24, 699) closes in from the UK, the highest-volume name of the group at 494 total posts (we profiled him in his data biography). Romain Bouvet (#25, 697) of France rounds out the list. Publish a little less, hit a little harder, and any of the five enters the top 20 at the next quarterly refresh.

The efficiency champions (pound for pound)

Raw likes favor big audiences, so here is the other cut: engagement rate on marketing posts, median likes divided by followers (minimum 20k followers). The list changes completely:

Both clear the absolute top 20 on this cut too, the only two creators to appear on both lists. The pattern is the same one running through the whole ranking: small, focused audiences convert harder than millions of passive followers.

The volume game (total marketing engagement)

One more cut: not the typical post, but the total likes generated on marketing posts over 12 months. This is where the high-frequency voices get their due:

Adam Grant generates the most total marketing engagement with 41 posts; Chris Donnelly needs 107 to reach an eighth of it. And this is the cut where the high-frequency names belong: Connor Gillivan (99 posts) and Rohan Sheth (57) earn their place here on cumulative output rather than per-post impact.

The conversation champion

The ratio of comments to likes, the cut nobody publishes. The marketing record belongs to Ira Bodnar: 644 median comments against 212 median likes on those marketing posts, more than three comments per like when the platform norm is one per ten. The format is built for replies, and the comment section does the rest.

The residents and the tourists

Here is the finding the whole ranking was hiding. Of the 944 creators who post marketing consistently, only 14 dedicate more than half their feed to it. Marketing is not a beat: it is everyone's side topic. Even at the very top, the dedicated are rare. Adam Grant is the most committed resident of this top 20 at 40% of his feed, and only Carolina Sojoguti, Haoma Worgwu and Nicolas Hieronimus join him above a third. The rest are tourists: Simon Sinek (9%), Dharmesh Shah (4%), Lenny Rachitsky (3%).

And the tourists win. The most extreme premiums in the data all belong to people who barely post about marketing: Simon Sinek (+258% on 9% of his feed), Sanvi Khandelwal (+146%), Lenny Rachitsky (+103%), Jean Kang (+94%). An audience that did not sign up for marketing rewards a sharp marketing take, while the few full-time marketing feeds compete with themselves. If you write about marketing occasionally, you are playing the easier game.

Two related studies while you are here: who dominates LinkedIn country by country (United States, France, the full series), where several of these names place again. And if your plan includes showing up in these creators' comments, an engagement feed makes that a daily five-minute habit.

Study them, then study yourself. With MagicPost you can analyze any marketing creator the way we just did (median engagement by theme, share of feed, premiums, trajectory) and benchmark your own profile. The data on this page is the product.

Where this data comes from

Everything in this article is MagicPost's own research, not a copied list. MagicPost analyzed 52,012 marketing-themed LinkedIn posts from the last 12 months, kept the 944 creators with at least 10 marketing posts and 5,000 followers (deleted posts excluded, company pages excluded), and ranked them by median likes on their marketing posts. We also computed each creator's share of feed, their marketing premium versus their own overall median, engagement rates and conversation ratios. Rankings refresh as the data does; figures dated June 2026. No one paid to be on this list, and no one can: it is arithmetic.

Perguntas Frequentes

Who is the top marketing creator on LinkedIn in 2026?

By real impact (median likes on marketing posts over the last 12 months), Adam Grant: 17,676 median likes per marketing post, just ahead of Simon Sinek (15,644) and far above the rest of the field.

How is this ranking calculated?

Median likes on each creator's marketing-themed posts over the last 12 months, among the 944 creators MagicPost analyzes with at least 10 marketing posts and 5,000 followers. Median, not average, so one viral post cannot buy a spot, and only marketing posts count, so general fame cannot either.

Does posting about marketing boost engagement on LinkedIn?

Often, yes, but mostly for occasional posters. The biggest premiums belong to "tourists" whose feed is mostly about something else: Simon Sinek earns 258% more on his rare marketing posts, Sanvi Khandelwal 146%, Lenny Rachitsky 103%. The typical marketing post still earns just 30 likes: the topic rewards a sharp take, not participation.

Who are the most efficient marketing creators?

By engagement rate on marketing posts (median likes / followers, minimum 20k followers): Chad Janis of Grüns (4.22%), just ahead of Sanvi Khandelwal (3.85%), Lanzi Weideman (2.24%) and Maryam Zakerin (2.15%). Smaller, focused audiences convert harder than millions of passive followers.

Are the top marketing voices full-time marketing creators?

Almost none are. Only 14 of the 944 eligible creators dedicate more than half their feed to marketing. It is everyone's side topic: the most committed resident of this top 20, Adam Grant, gives it 40% of his feed, and most of the list posts marketing under 15% of the time.

Which countries dominate marketing content on LinkedIn?

The United States places the most names in this top 20, with the United Kingdom (Lara Acosta, Katie A., Jordan Lee) and others including France (Nicolas Hieronimus), India (Sanvi Khandelwal), Spain (Carolina Sojoguti), the UAE (Lanzi Weideman) and Nigeria (Haoma Worgwu). Country-by-country rankings are in our country series.
