Entendendo e comprando créditos do Leads

MagicPost Leads credits count the leads that the Leads module detects for you. One credit is spent each time a profile is scored with at least a Medium fit on one of your ICPs. Each of the Growth, Creator, Agency e Team plans includes a monthly quota of credits, and a paying subscriber can add more with the Leads add-on, from the Leads page.

The Leads module of MagicPost detects the people who like or comment on your LinkedIn posts and scores them against your ICPs. See what is the Leads module? and the LinkedIn leads feature page.

What costs a credit

In MagicPost Leads, a profile costs one credit when the AI scores it Excellent, Good or Medium on an ICP. The cost is counted per ICP: the same person detected as a lead on two ICPs costs two credits.

Scoring a lead again follows the same rule. Re-check affinity on a lead, or a detection re-run after you edited an ICP, costs a credit only if the new fit is at least Medium.

What is free

  • Collecting the people who liked or commented on a post.

  • Pre-qualification, the check against the keywords and filters of your ICP that runs before the AI.

  • A profile that the AI scores below Medium. MagicPost sets the profile aside: it is not a lead, it does not appear in your leads, and it costs nothing.

  • Creating, editing, archiving or deleting an ICP.

A detection on a MagicPost post that attracted nobody relevant therefore costs no credit. See how AI scoring works.

MagicPost limits how many profiles it scores and sets aside for free in one period. The limit depends on your monthly quota and your active top-up credits. Past that limit, MagicPost Leads behaves as it does at zero credits, even if you have credits left: a new detection is refused, and new profiles wait as pending leads. The count of free scorings starts again when your quota renews.

Your monthly quota

Each MagicPost plan sets a monthly quota of Leads credits:

  • Growth: 100 por mês.

  • Creator: 200 por mês.

  • Agency: 100 por mês, for each seat that includes Leads.

  • Team: a monthly quota too. The credits widget at the top of the Leads page shows it.

The MagicPost Leads quota is monthly, whether your plan is billed monthly or yearly. Credits you did not use in a month are not carried over to the next one. A subscription bought on an earlier MagicPost price list keeps the quota of that list, which the Leads page shows.

During the MagicPost free trial, Leads comes with a small allowance of credits for the whole trial. The credits widget shows what is left.

Where to see your credits

The credits widget sits at the top of the MagicPost Leads page and shows your remaining credits. Click it to open the Lead credits dialog. The dialog shows your available credits, what is left of the monthly quota, the renewal date, your active top-ups with their expiry dates, and the number of pending leads.

How to buy more credits

A paying MagicPost subscriber gets more Leads credits with the Leads add-on, from the Lead credits dialog. The add-on price is not part of the public price list. The Activate Leads add-on dialog, which View Leads add-on opens, shows it in your billing currency. The add-on cannot be bought during the free trial.

MagicPost no longer sells one-time top-ups of Leads credits. Top-up credits you already bought, and credits offered by MagicPost, stay usable until their expiry date.

Leads add-on

The MagicPost Leads add-on is a monthly subscription billed separately from your plan. Each month it adds credits on top of the quota of your plan, and it raises the number of ICPs you can have. The add-on is for individual plans, Growth and Creator: it cannot be added to an organization plan with several seats. On such a plan, the Lead credits dialog still shows the add-on offer, but MagicPost refuses the subscription when you click Activate add-on, with an error message.

  1. On the Leads page, click the credits widget to open the Lead credits dialog.

  2. Click View Leads add-on. Above the button, the dialog gives the leads per month and the active ICPs you get with the add-on.

  3. In the Activate Leads add-on dialog, compare your plan with the Leads add-on column: Leads analyzed per month (the add-on column shows the total, plan included), Active ICPs and the monthly price. The rows under Already in your plan (Automatic detection, Export to CSV, CRM Integrations) do not change with the add-on.

  4. Click Activate add-on.

To stop the MagicPost Leads add-on, click Cancel add-on in the Lead credits dialog. The add-on quota stays available until the end of the period already paid, and Reactivate add-on undoes the cancellation before that date.

In what order credits are spent

MagicPost spends the monthly quota first, then any top-up credits you still have, starting with the top-up closest to its expiry date. Top-up credits are therefore not used while monthly credits remain.

What happens at zero credits

When your MagicPost Leads credits reach zero, detection is paused entirely:

  • You cannot launch a detection on a post. In the Detect leads dialog, Start detection is disabled and a notice shows the next step: View Leads add-on on a paid plan without the add-on, View renewal date if you already have the add-on, View plans during the free trial.

  • The detection agent stops scanning your new posts. Its indicator reads Auto-detection paused, and the agent keeps its settings.

  • Profiles that were waiting for their AI scoring when the credits ran out become pending leads. They are detected but hidden, and a chip in the Leads tab counts them.

The MagicPost Leads page itself stays open at zero credits: you keep your leads, your ICPs and the CRM. Detection resumes when you have credits again.

How pending leads come back

MagicPost restarts the scoring of pending leads on its own when you subscribe to the Leads add-on and when the add-on renews. The monthly renewal of the quota included in your plan does not restart pending leads on its own.

To restart pending leads yourself in MagicPost, click the pending leads chip in the Leads tab once you have credits. The Process your pending leads dialog restarts their scoring, within your available credits. When some leads cannot restart in the same pass, the dialog shows how many will remain pending: click the chip again afterwards. A pending lead costs a credit only if its fit turns out to be at least Medium.

FAQ

How many leads can MagicPost detect for me each month?

As many as your monthly quota of credits: 100 por mês on Growth, 200 por mês on Creator and 100 por mês on an Agency seat. The Leads add-on adds credits on top of the quota.

Does a profile that is not a good fit cost a credit?

No. In MagicPost Leads, a profile ruled out at pre-qualification, or scored below Medium by the AI, costs nothing. Only a profile that becomes a lead, with an Excellent, Good or Medium fit, costs a credit.

Do unused credits roll over to the next month?

No. The monthly quota of MagicPost Leads credits starts again at each renewal, and unused credits are lost. Top-up credits you already have are separate: they stay available until their own expiry date.

Can I still buy one-time top-ups of Leads credits?

No. MagicPost no longer sells one-time top-ups: the Leads add-on is the only way to add credits to your monthly quota. Top-up credits you already bought, and credits offered by MagicPost, stay usable until their expiry date.

Can I buy Leads credits during the free trial?

No. MagicPost sells the Leads add-on to paying subscribers only. During the trial, the Lead credits dialog offers View plans instead.

Can an organization take the Leads add-on?

No. The MagicPost Leads add-on is for individual plans and cannot be added to an organization plan with several seats. The Lead credits dialog still shows the add-on offer on such a plan, but MagicPost refuses the subscription when you click Activate add-on.

Why is a detection refused although I have credits left?

Because you reached the MagicPost limit of free scorings for the period. MagicPost sets aside for free the profiles scored below Medium, up to a limit that depends on your monthly quota and your active top-up credits. Past that limit, a detection is refused as it is at zero credits. The limit rises when you add credits with the Leads add-on, and the count of free scorings starts again when your quota renews.

Do I get my trial credits back when I subscribe?

Yes, if you subscribe to a plan with Leads before the MagicPost trial ends. The unused trial credits are added as extra credits, with the expiry date shown in the Lead credits dialog.
