How many visuals and carousels can I generate?

On the Creator, Team and Agency plans you get 50 carousels, 50 visuals and 30 AI images per rolling 30-day window; on the Starter plan it is 10, 10 and 5. Copilot edits have their own separate allowance on top.

Media generation is in Beta. It works and you can publish what it produces, but the limits below are real.

The full quota matrix

Every feature counts against its own allowance. Carousels, visuals and AI images do not share a pool, and copilot edits are counted separately again.

On the Starter plan, per rolling 30-day window:

• 10 carousel generations

• 20 carousel copilot edits

• 10 visual generations (models)

• 5 AI images (AI visuals / AI mockups)

• 20 visual copilot edits

On Creator, Team and Agency, per rolling 30-day window:

• 50 carousel generations

• 100 carousel copilot edits

• 50 visual generations (models)

• 30 AI images (AI visuals / AI mockups)

• 100 visual copilot edits

Starter is an earlier individual plan, so you will not find it on the current pricing page; if you subscribed to it, your numbers are the Starter ones above.

If you belong to an organisation, you follow the Creator, Team & Agency column, whatever your own login shows.

The window is rolling, not calendar. Your full allowance comes back 30 days after the first generation of the current window, so nothing resets on the 1st of the month.

What costs a unit, and what is free

A unit is spent the moment MagicPost generates something new.

These each cost one unit:

• Generating a carousel or a visual.

• Regenerating the same visual under a different design.

• Each AI variant you request.

• Each copilot edit (against its own edit quota).

These are always free:

• Start from this template, which copies a gallery example.

• A version restore.

• Choose your layout on a structured model.

• All manual editing: text, colors, layout, everything you change by hand.

So you can open a visual, tweak it for an hour, restore an earlier version and switch layouts without spending a thing. Only a fresh generation draws down the count.

Where your plan stands

Free plan. Media generation is blocked behind an upgrade wall. You need a paid plan to generate.

Free trial. You get a small one-time allowance during the free trial. It does not refill, so once it is spent you upgrade to keep going.

The Analytics plan. Media generation is not included in Analytics. See the Analytics plan for what that plan covers.

Organisation members. You follow the Creator, Team & Agency column.

Admins are not exempt. An admin follows the matrix of their own plan like everyone else.

Each feature shows a gauge in the product, in the format used/limit. Check it before a big batch so you know how much room you have.

FAQ

Do 2 AI variants cost 2 credits?

Yes. The panel says "1 variant = 1 credit", so two variants draw two units. If you have only one credit left, the two-variant option is greyed out, so ask for one.

When does my quota reset?

There is no fixed reset day. Your full allowance comes back 30 days after the first generation of the current window, all at once.

Is manual editing limited?

No. Editing text, colors and layout by hand is unlimited, and so is restoring a version or switching a layout. Only new generations count.

My plan doesn't include media generation

You are likely on the Analytics plan, where media generation is not included, or on the free plan behind the upgrade wall. See the Analytics plan to confirm what your plan covers.
