Pakistan is the one country in our data that breaks the morning rule, and for a perfectly logical reason.
At MagicPost, we analyzed 63,517 Pakistani LinkedIn posts in Pakistan time. Everywhere else we publish, engagement peaks before or around the local workday's start. In Pakistan, posts peak in the mid-afternoon: 3pm PKT scores 92 out of 100, with late morning close behind. No other country looks like this.
The explanation is hiding in plain sight: 3pm in Karachi is 11am in Berlin and Paris, and 10am in London. A large share of Pakistan's LinkedIn (freelancers, agencies, IT exporters, consultants) writes for European clients, and posts when Europe is scrolling, not when Pakistan is. The Pakistani feed runs on its clients' clock.
The Pakistani day, hour by hour

The shape is unique in our dataset: a strong band from late morning through mid-afternoon, peaking at 3pm (92), with 11am (88) and noon (82) close behind. Early local mornings, the star slot everywhere else, are quiet here.
So the rule for Pakistan: post between 11am and 3pm PKT on a weekday, with 3pm the single best pick if your audience includes Europe.
The five best weekday windows in Pakistan

Rank | Window (PKT) | Score |
1 | Monday 3pm | 99 |
2 | Monday 11am | 95 |
3 | Friday 3pm | 93 |
4 | Monday 10am | 93 |
5 | Wednesday 3pm | 93 |
Consistent and clean: Monday leads, and 3pm appears three times. Monday 3pm PKT, for the record, is Monday 11am in central Europe: the European feed waking up for the week.
Post before the crowd (it works here too)

Pakistani posting volume peaks at 4pm, one hour after the performance peak at 3pm. The universal pattern holds even with the shifted clock: the crowd publishes at the top of the wave, and the posts that go out just before it do better. If your competitors schedule for 4pm, you want 3pm.
The full week at a glance

The bright band runs late-morning to afternoon on weekdays, Monday strongest. Note that Friday afternoon stays strong here (Friday 3pm is the week's number three slot): Pakistan's week does not fade into Friday the way Western markets do, though the weekend itself stays quiet for reach.
Who is your audience, really?
The afternoon peak comes with one strategic question: whose morning are you posting for?
Clients in Europe or the UK (the most common case in the data): 11am to 3pm PKT covers Europe's whole morning. Post at 3pm.
A mostly local Pakistani audience (recruiting, domestic business): the late-morning band (10 to 11am PKT) is your safer pick; it scores nearly as high and matches local browsing.
US clients: even 5pm PKT is only 8am in New York. Schedule into the US morning instead, and see the US guide for the target window.
Pakistan uses a single time zone (PKT, UTC+5, no daylight saving), so these hours apply nationwide.
Compare with other markets: India, the UK, Germany, or the full guide.

Where this data comes from
Everything in this article is MagicPost's own research, not a converted version of a Western study. MagicPost analyzed 63,517 Pakistani LinkedIn posts directly in Pakistan time, comparing each post to its author's usual engagement so big accounts do not skew the picture, and excluding slots with too few posts to score reliably.
The numbers were refreshed in May 2026. The same dataset powers the posting-time recommendations built into MagicPost.
