Cómo activar el módulo Leads
The MagicPost Leads module has nothing to switch on or buy separately: Leads is included in the Growth, Creator, Agency y Team plans, and it is open during the MagicPost free trial. To start, open Leads in the navigation, connect your LinkedIn account if it is not connected yet, and create your first ICP.
This article covers who has access to MagicPost Leads and what happens when the trial or the credits run out. For what the module does, see what is the Leads module? and the LinkedIn leads feature page.
Who has access to Leads
Free trial. The MagicPost free trial opens Leads with a small allowance of Leads credits for the whole trial. The credits widget at the top of the Leads page shows the credits left and when the trial ends.
Growth. The Growth plan includes Leads, with a quota of 100 al mes.
Creator. The Creator plan includes Leads, with a quota of 200 al mes.
Agency and Team. A member of an organization needs a seat to use Leads. On Agency, the quota is 100 al mes for a seat that includes Leads, and an Analytics seat or an Engagement seat does not include Leads. On Team, the credits widget shows the monthly quota.
A subscription to a former MagicPost plan follows its own rules: see The Analytics and Starter plans. To compare the current plans, see what are the MagicPost plans and what is in them?
How to start using Leads
In MagicPost, open Leads in the navigation.
If your LinkedIn account is not connected, click Connect LinkedIn. MagicPost Leads cannot work without a connected LinkedIn account.
If your LinkedIn account is already connected and you have no ICP yet, MagicPost shows a presentation screen of the Leads module once. Click Detect my leads to open the guided setup.
Follow the guided setup. It creates your first ICP and offers to turn on the detection agent. See how to create my first ICP.
Open the Posts tab and click Detect on a published post. See how to detect leads from a post.
What happens when the free trial ends
When the MagicPost free trial ends and you have no plan that includes Leads, the Leads page is locked and detection stops. The page shows an upgrade screen with a link to the plans. See how to upgrade your MagicPost plan.
If you subscribe to a plan with Leads while the trial is still running, MagicPost carries your unused trial credits over. They are added to the monthly quota of the plan as extra credits with an expiry date, which the Lead credits dialog shows.
What happens when you run out of credits
When your MagicPost Leads credits reach zero, detection is paused. You cannot launch a detection on a post, and the detection agent stops scanning your new posts. The Leads page stays open: you keep your leads, your ICPs and the CRM.
MagicPost resumes detection as soon as you have credits again, at the monthly renewal of your quota or after a purchase. See understanding and buying Leads credits.
Getting more credits
A paying MagicPost subscriber can get more Leads credits from the credits widget at the top of the Leads page. The widget opens the Lead credits dialog, which offers a Monthly add-on and a One-time top-up.
The MagicPost Leads Monthly add-on is for individual plans. On an organization plan with several seats, the Lead credits dialog still shows the Monthly add-on option, but MagicPost refuses the subscription and shows an error message.
The MagicPost Lead credits dialog shows the price and the number of credits of each option. Neither option can be bought during the free trial.
Changing or canceling
Leads access follows your MagicPost plan, so there is no Leads subscription to cancel on its own. If you change or cancel your plan, Leads access follows. See how to modify or cancel my subscription.
The Leads add-on is the exception: MagicPost bills the add-on separately from the plan, every month. You cancel it with Cancel add-on in the Lead credits dialog. The add-on quota stays available until the end of the period already paid.
FAQ
Which plans include Leads?
MagicPost Leads is included in the Growth, Creator, Agency y Team plans, with no add-on to buy. The Growth quota is 100 al mes and the Creator quota is 200 al mes.
Do I have to buy an add-on to use Leads?
No. MagicPost Leads works with the monthly quota included in your plan. The Leads add-on and the top-ups are optional: they only add credits for subscribers who need more.
I am a member of an organization and Leads is locked. Why?
In a MagicPost organization, Leads access comes from your seat. Leads is locked if you have no seat, or if your seat is an Analytics seat or an Engagement seat. Ask an admin of your organization to change your seat. See how to manage seats.
Do unused trial credits carry over if I subscribe?
Yes, if you subscribe to a plan with Leads before the trial ends. MagicPost adds the unused trial credits to your plan quota as extra credits that expire at the date shown in the Lead credits dialog.
Can I use Leads without connecting LinkedIn?
No. MagicPost Leads detects the people who engage with the posts of your connected LinkedIn account. Without a connected account, the Leads page only shows a screen that presents the module, with the Connect LinkedIn button. Connecting LinkedIn from that screen opens the guided setup. Connecting LinkedIn from the Engagement or Metrics presentation screen does not skip the Leads one: the first time you open Leads without an ICP, MagicPost still shows it once.
