Cómo usar Leads en equipo
MagicPost gives the admins of a Team organization (Team plan) or an Agency organization (Agency plan) a Leads page in the admin view. There, admins read the leads that each member detects on their own LinkedIn posts. The page stays hidden until the organization switches it on.
In a MagicPost Team organization, the organization Leads page shows the leads of all members in one list, group by group or member by member, and lets an admin create ICPs shared with the team. In a MagicPost Agency organization, the page shows the leads one client account or one group of accounts at a time, never all accounts at once.
The MagicPost organization Leads page is a reading and pipeline view. Detection, AI scoring and Leads credits stay with each member, on that member's own Leads page. The MagicPost page for sales teams presents the use case, and the MagicPost Leads page presents the module as a whole.
Open the organization Leads page
Open the admin view of your MagicPost organization. See the admin view.
In the Monitor group of the menu, click Leads.
If the Leads entry is missing from the admin view of a MagicPost organization, the Leads view is switched off. MagicPost leaves it off when an organization is created, for a team as for an agency. To switch it on:
In the Manage group of the admin view menu, click Settings.
In a Team organization, open the Preferences tab. In an Agency organization, open the Display tab, under Preferences.
Switch on Show the Leads view.
The Settings entry of a MagicPost organization is shown to the admins who manage the organization: every admin in a Team organization, the owner and the Super admins in an Agency organization. The Show the Leads view setting only shows or hides the page: it does not give a member access to Leads.
In a MagicPost Agency organization, the Leads line of the Modules tab, under Client space, is a different setting: it does not show the organization Leads page.
See the leads of all members, a group or one member
On a wide screen, the MagicPost organization Leads page lists the accounts in a panel on the left: a search box, the group chips, an All members line in a Team organization, then each account with its number of leads. On a narrower screen, the same list opens from a selector above the leads. The page remembers your last choice.
All members, in a Team organization: one row per person, even when several members detected the same person. The Owners column shows which members hold that lead. Click a member in that column to open the lead in that member's list.
A group, when the organization uses groups: the leads of the whole group, one row per person, displayed like All members. In the panel, a group chip also narrows the list to the members of that group.
One member: the leads of that member, as the member sees them.
Admin accounts are hidden from the list of the MagicPost organization Leads page, yours included, until you switch on Show admins at the bottom of the list. Switch it on to see the leads of an admin, or your own leads.
The Show admins switch of MagicPost only filters the list of accounts: in a Team organization, the All members view and the group views already include the leads of admins. MagicPost remembers the choice in your browser, and it also applies to the account lists of the Calendar and Metrics pages.
In the view of one member, you search, filter and sort the MagicPost organization Leads page as on a personal Leads page. See how to filter and organize your leads.
The All members view and the view of a group on the MagicPost organization Leads page have no fit level, because one row groups the leads of several members. These views have no ICP affinity or ICPs column, no fit chips and no ICP affinity filter. They also leave out the Interactions, Source and Source post columns.
In the All members view and the view of a group on the MagicPost organization Leads page, a lead whose holders gave it different contact statuses shows Mixed and matches no status filter.
The All members view and the view of a group on the MagicPost organization Leads page load a limited number of leads. Past that limit, a notice above the list says that only the first leads are displayed, and the counts, the filters and the exports cover that subset only. Use the view of one member to see all of that member's leads.
What an admin can do on the organization Leads page
On the MagicPost organization Leads page, an admin can change the contact status and the tags of leads, delete leads, and export a selection with Export in the selection bar. In the All members view or the view of a group, a status change, a tag change or a deletion applies to the lead of every member of that view who holds that person.
A CSV export from the MagicPost organization Leads page follows the plan of each member.
From the view of one member, MagicPost refuses the export when the plan of that member does not include CSV export, for example during a free trial.
From the All members view or a group view, MagicPost leaves out the leads held only by members whose plan does not include CSV export, and a warning gives the number of leads that could not be exported.
The file of an All members or group export has a column with the members who hold each lead, shows Mixed when their statuses differ and merges their tags. It has no source, scoring or fit level column.
An admin cannot do the following from the MagicPost organization Leads page. Each of these actions belongs to the member and is done from the member's own Leads page.
Launch a detection on a post, or turn the detection agent on.
Score or re-score a lead with the AI.
Add a lead by hand.
Send leads to connected tools, or use message templates.
See or buy Leads credits.
When a member has no lead yet, the MagicPost organization Leads page shows This member has no leads yet, or This account has no leads yet in an Agency organization, with the button Set up their Leads module. The button opens the member's account on its Leads page, so an admin can create the member's ICPs and launch detections as that member.
Next actions on the organization Leads page
In the view of one member, an admin of a MagicPost organization manages the next actions of that member's leads: schedule, edit, reschedule, mark done or delete. In that view, the For field of the next action form offers Me, for the admin, or that member. The member finds the action on their own Leads page, on the lead and in the Actions tab. Once it is overdue or due today, it counts in the badge of that tab, whoever it is assigned to.
A next action that an admin assigns to Me on the lead of a member stays with that member's lead. MagicPost counts next actions by the member who holds the lead, never by the person they are assigned to. The action therefore does not appear in the Actions tab of the admin's own Leads page, in the badge of that tab or in the admin's morning email. In a Team organization, the admin finds it in the Actions tab of that member's view, with the Assigned to me chip.
An account created with Quick add has no mailbox, so MagicPost sends its morning email of due actions to the owner of the organization, and only if the owner has access to the Leads module. That email names the account and comes on the days when one of its next actions is overdue or due today, at 8 AM in the owner's time zone. One email goes out per Quick add account. Its See their actions button opens that account on the organization Leads page, which needs Show the Leads view switched on.
The owner's own Daily action reminders setting decides whether the MagicPost emails of Quick add accounts are sent. When the owner switches it off, MagicPost stops the owner's own morning email and the emails of every Quick add account of the organization at once. See how to filter and organize your leads for the morning email itself.
In a MagicPost Team organization, the view of one member has an Actions tab, after Leads and ICPs, even when that member has no open next action. The tab opens on one row per lead of that member with an open next action. An admin marks an action done, edits it, edits its note or reschedules it from the row, as on a personal Leads page. The Completed actions switch at the top right lists the actions already done on that member's leads instead. See how to filter and organize your leads.
In the view of one member, the Actions tab of the MagicPost organization Leads page also has the tools of a personal Actions tab for many actions at once: the checkboxes and the selection bar with Done, Reschedule and Remove action on desktop, the Work through today's actions button, and the overdue banner from 5 overdue actions. With the Assigned to me chip on, Work through today's actions and the overdue banner only count the actions assigned to the admin.
The Actions tab of the MagicPost organization Leads page adds three things to the Actions tab of a personal Leads page. On desktop, a For column shows who each next action is assigned to. An Assigned to me chip keeps the actions assigned to the admin who is looking at the page. In the Completed actions view, a By column shows who marked each action done.
The organization Actions tab of MagicPost has no Message button and no Their posts button: its Shortcuts column only holds the menu to edit or delete the action. Those two buttons exist on the member's own Leads page only, and so does the Message button of the lead card.
The organization Actions tab of MagicPost has no mail icon either: the morning email of due actions is set by each person on their own Leads page or in their Settings.
The Actions tab of the MagicPost organization Leads page exists in the view of one member only. The All members view and the group views have no Actions tab, and neither has the Leads page of an Agency organization.
The All members view and the group views of the MagicPost organization Leads page show next actions read-only. A lead held by several members shows the earliest next action among them.
A status change made by an admin on the MagicPost organization Leads page applies the follow-up rules, in every view. An action scheduled by a rule is for the person who changed the status: here, the admin, not the member who holds the lead.
On the MagicPost organization Leads page, the Next action column is hidden by default: add it with Customize, then Edit columns. See how to filter and organize your leads.
Create an ICP for the team
An org ICP in MagicPost is an ICP shared with the members the admin chooses. Each chosen member finds the ICP in their own Leads module and uses it for their detections. An admin creates org ICPs in a Team organization only.
On the organization Leads page, select All members or a group, and open the ICPs tab.
Click Create your first org ICP, or the Add org ICP card once the organization has one.
Define the ICP as you would a personal one. See how to create an ICP.
In the last step, choose the members who receive the ICP.
The ICPs tab of the MagicPost organization Leads page lists the org ICPs of the whole organization, even from the view of a group. Each org ICP card shows how many members use it, and its menu offers Manage members, Edit and Delete for the organization.
Deleting an org ICP in MagicPost removes it for every member, with the scoring history attached to it. The lead profiles themselves are not deleted.
An org ICP counts in the ICP limit of each member. When MagicPost cannot give the ICP to some members, the Members not activated dialog lists them with the reason, such as the member's ICP limit.
Turn a member's ICP into an org ICP
In the view of one member, the ICPs tab of the MagicPost organization Leads page lists that member's ICPs in read-only mode. On an ICP that can be shared, Promote to org ICP makes it available to the organization, for the members you choose.
In a MagicPost Team organization, a member can also share an ICP without the admin. In the member's own Leads module, the menu of an ICP card has Save for the organization. Colleagues then pick it with New ICP, then Use a shared ICP. A shared ICP carries the Shared badge, and a member who no longer wants it clicks Remove from my ICPs.
Credits and access of each member
Leads credits in a MagicPost organization are counted per member. The detections of a member spend that member's credits, including on an org ICP. The organization Leads page itself spends no credit. Each member sees their balance in the credits widget of their own Leads page. See understanding and buying Leads credits.
Access to Leads in a MagicPost organization depends on the seat of the member. A member without a seat does not appear in the list of the organization Leads page. Where seat types are enabled, an Analytics seat or an Engagement seat leaves Leads out, and the page shows This member doesn't have access to the Leads module. See how to manage seats.
Shared contact statuses
The first time an admin opens the All members view or the view of a group, MagicPost creates one list of contact statuses for the Team organization, built from the statuses of the admin and of the members. Members can then no longer edit their own list: the admins manage the shared list from those views. See how to customize contact statuses.
Once created, the shared list of contact statuses stays in force in the MagicPost organization, even if Show the Leads view is switched off later. Admins edit the shared list from the organization Leads page only, so Show the Leads view must stay on.
The follow-up rules of a MagicPost Team organization follow the shared list of contact statuses. Once the list is shared, the leads of every member follow the rules of that list. The admins who manage the shared list edit its rules from the All members view or a group view, with Customize, then Statuses and follow-up: the rule of each status sits at the right end of its row, in the When a lead enters column. On each person's own Leads page, the same dialog shows the statuses and their rules read-only, with Managed by your organization. The personal setting under the list of statuses, which moves a next action forward when the lead engages, stays editable there.
Shared exclusion list
In a MagicPost Team organization, the members share an exclusion list: the people and companies that lead detection ignores for every member. Each member manages it from their own Leads page: in the Leads tab, the Exclusions button of the toolbar opens the Exclusions panel. On a phone, the entry is Manage exclusions, in the three-dot More actions menu. A selector at the top of the panel switches between The whole team, the shared list, and Only me, the member's own list.
Every member of a MagicPost Team organization adds entries to the team list. Only an admin of the team removes them, except that a member can remove an entry they added themselves within 15 minutes of adding it.
The MagicPost organization Leads page has no exclusion action, and it does not show the leads that an exclusion hides. In an Agency organization, each client account has its own exclusion list. See how to exclude people and companies from lead detection.
In an Agency organization
A MagicPost organization on the Agency plan reads its leads one client account at a time, or one group of accounts at a time. The Leads page of an agency has no All members line and no view of all accounts at once. MagicPost opens it on the last account or group you viewed, or on the first account of the list.
The Leads page of a MagicPost Agency organization differs from the team page on these points:
No ICPs tab and no org ICP. In the view of one account, the ICP selector sits in the filter bar and lists the ICPs of that account. A client account cannot share an ICP with the organization either: an agency has no Save for the organization action and no shared ICPs.
No shared list of contact statuses: each client account keeps its own statuses. In a group view, a status change only applies to the accounts whose list contains that status, and a warning gives the number of members that could not be updated.
No Actions tab. An agency admin manages the next actions of a client account from the leads list of that account.
An account without Leads shows This account doesn't have access to the Leads module.
Each agency admin sees the accounts that their admin level allows. The owner and the Super admins see every account. A Manager sees the client accounts, without the owner or the other admins. An Account manager sees only the accounts assigned to them, directly or through a group.
FAQ
Where is the organization Leads page, and why do I not see it?
The Leads page of a MagicPost organization is the Leads entry of the Monitor group, in the admin view. You do not see it in two cases: you are not an admin of the organization, or Show the Leads view is switched off in the Settings of the organization. MagicPost leaves that setting off when an organization is created.
Why are my own leads missing from the organization Leads page?
Because admin accounts, yours included, are hidden from the list of accounts by default. Switch on Show admins at the bottom of the list, then select your account. In a Team organization, the All members view already includes your leads.
Can an agency see the leads of all its client accounts in one list?
No. A MagicPost Agency organization reads its leads one client account at a time, or one group of accounts at a time. Put accounts in a group to see their leads together.
Whose credits are spent when a lead is scored?
The credits of the member whose post was analyzed. An org ICP does not change that: each member who uses it spends their own Leads credits. Looking at leads on the organization Leads page costs nothing.
Why does a member show no access to the Leads module?
Most often, the seat of that member does not include Leads. In a MagicPost organization where seat types are enabled, an Analytics seat and an Engagement seat leave the Leads module out. Change the seat type to give access. A member without a seat does not appear in the list at all.
Can an admin launch a detection for a member from the organization Leads page?
No. The organization Leads page has no detection, scoring or credit action. Open the member's account, for example with Set up their Leads module, and launch the detection from the member's own Leads page.
Can I give the next action of a lead to a member?
Yes, to the member who holds the lead, if you are an admin of the MagicPost organization. In the view of that member on the organization Leads page, the next action form shows a For field with Me and that member. On anyone's own Leads page there is no For field: a next action scheduled there is for that person.
Where does an admin see the next actions of a member?
In the Actions tab of that member's view, on the Leads page of a MagicPost Team organization. The tab comes last, after Leads and ICPs, and shows the planned actions and, in Completed actions, the ones already done. The All members view, the group views and Agency organizations have no Actions tab: there, next actions show in the Next action column of the leads list.
Who receives the morning email of a Quick add account?
The owner of the MagicPost organization, if the owner has access to the Leads module. Without it, MagicPost sends no morning email for Quick add accounts. A Quick add account has no mailbox, so its morning email of due actions goes to the owner, names the account and links to it on the organization Leads page. The owner's Daily action reminders setting turns these emails on or off, together with the owner's own morning email. The email arrives at 8 AM in the owner's time zone.
Can a member see the leads of a colleague?
No. In MagicPost, a member only sees their own leads. Only the admins of a Team or Agency organization see the leads of other members, on the Leads page of the admin view.
