How to use Leads as a team
In a MagicPost organization on the Team plan, each member detects leads on their own LinkedIn posts, and the admins of the organization get a team Leads page. That page shows the leads of all members in one list or member by member, and lets an admin create ICPs shared with the team. The team Leads page is reserved for admins of a Team organization. An organization on the Agency plan does not have it.
The MagicPost team Leads page is a reading and pipeline view. Detection, AI scoring and Leads credits stay with each member, on that member's own Leads page. The MagicPost page for sales teams presents the use case.
Open the team Leads page
Open the admin view of your MagicPost organization. See the admin view.
In the Measure group of the menu, click Leads.
If the Leads entry is missing, the Leads module of the organization is switched off. Open the settings of the organization with the gear icon, and switch on Leads under Modules. When a Team organization is created, MagicPost switches this module on for a small team and leaves it off for a larger one. The module only shows or hides the page: it does not give a member access to Leads.
In a MagicPost organization on the Agency plan, the Leads switch also exists under Modules, and switching it on shows the Leads entry in the menu. The page does not open for an agency: MagicPost sends the admin back to the Accounts page.
See the leads of all members or of one member
The member selector at the top left of the MagicPost team Leads page chooses whose leads you see. The page remembers your last choice.
All members: one row per person, even when several members detected the same person. The Owners column shows which members hold that lead. Click a member in that column to open the lead in that member's list.
One member: the leads of that member, as the member sees them. The admin's own leads are not in the selector: they stay on the admin's personal Leads page.
In the view of one member, you search, filter and sort the MagicPost team Leads page as on a personal Leads page. See how to filter and organize your leads.
The All members view of the MagicPost team Leads page has no fit level, because one row groups the leads of several members. That view has no ICP affinity or ICPs column, no fit chips and no ICP affinity filter. It also leaves out the Interactions, Source and Source post columns. A lead whose holders gave it different contact statuses shows Mixed and matches no status filter.
The All members view of the MagicPost team Leads page loads a limited number of leads. Past that limit, a notice above the list says that only the first leads are displayed, and the counts, the filters and the exports cover that subset only. Use the view of one member to see all of that member's leads.
What an admin can do on the team Leads page
On the MagicPost team Leads page, an admin can change the contact status and the tags of leads, delete leads, and export a selection with Export to CSV. In the All members view, a status change, a tag change or a deletion applies to the lead of every member who holds that person.
An admin cannot do the following from the MagicPost team Leads page. Each of these actions belongs to the member and is done from the member's own Leads page.
Launch a detection on a post, or turn the detection agent on.
Score or re-score a lead with the AI.
Add a lead by hand.
Send leads to connected tools, or use message templates.
See or buy Leads credits.
When a member has no lead yet, the page shows This member has no leads yet with the button Set up their Leads module. The button opens the member's account on its Leads page, so an admin can create the member's ICPs and launch detections as that member.
Create an ICP for the team
An org ICP in MagicPost is an ICP shared with the members the admin chooses. Each chosen member finds the ICP in their own Leads module and uses it for their detections.
On the team Leads page, select All members and open the ICPs tab.
Click Create your first org ICP, or the Add org ICP card once the organization has one.
Define the ICP as you would a personal one. See how to create an ICP.
In the last step, choose the members who receive the ICP.
Each org ICP card on the MagicPost team Leads page shows how many members use it. The menu of the card offers Manage members, Edit and Delete for the organization. Deleting an org ICP removes it for every member, with the scoring history attached to it. The lead profiles themselves are not deleted.
An org ICP counts in the ICP limit of each member. When MagicPost cannot give the ICP to some members, the Members not activated dialog lists them with the reason, such as ICP limit reached.
Turn a member's ICP into an org ICP
In the view of one member, the ICPs tab of the MagicPost team Leads page lists that member's ICPs in read-only mode. On an ICP that can be shared, Promote to org ICP makes it available to the organization, for the members you choose.
A member can also share an ICP without the admin. In the member's own Leads module, the menu of an ICP card has Save for the organization. Colleagues then pick it with New ICP, then Use a shared ICP. A shared ICP carries the Shared badge, and a member who no longer wants it clicks Remove from my ICPs.
Credits and access of each member
Leads credits in a MagicPost organization are counted per member. The detections of a member spend that member's credits, including on an org ICP. The team Leads page itself spends no credit. Each member sees their balance in the credits widget of their own Leads page. See understanding and buying Leads credits.
Access to Leads in a MagicPost organization depends on the seat of the member. A member without an active seat does not have the Leads module. Where seat types are enabled for the organization, an Analytics seat or an Engagement seat leaves Leads out too. In both cases, the team Leads page shows This member doesn't have access to the Leads module. See how to manage seats.
Shared contact statuses
The first time an admin opens the All members view, MagicPost creates one list of contact statuses for the organization, built from the statuses of the admin and of the members. From then on, members can no longer edit their own list: the admins manage the shared list from the All members view. See how to customize contact statuses.
FAQ
Where is the team Leads page, and why do I not see it?
The team Leads page is the Leads entry of the Measure group, in the admin view of the organization. You do not see it in three cases: you are not an admin of the organization, the organization is on the Agency plan, or the Leads module is switched off in the settings of the organization. In an Agency organization, switching on Leads under Modules shows the menu entry, but the page sends you back to the Accounts page.
Whose credits are spent when a lead is scored?
The credits of the member whose post was analyzed. An org ICP does not change that: each member who uses it spends their own Leads credits. Looking at leads on the team Leads page costs nothing.
Why does a member show no access to the Leads module?
The member has no active seat, or the seat of that member does not include Leads. In a MagicPost organization where seat types are enabled, an Analytics seat and an Engagement seat leave the Leads module out. Give the member a seat, or change the seat type, to give access.
Can an admin launch a detection for a member from the team Leads page?
No. The team Leads page has no detection, scoring or credit action. Open the member's account, for example with Set up their Leads module, and launch the detection from the member's own Leads page.
Can a member see the leads of a colleague?
No. In MagicPost, a member only sees their own leads. Only the admins of a Team organization see the leads of other members, on the team Leads page.
