WHAT WORKS FOR THEM, IN YOUR DASHBOARD

Three steps to read another creator.

  1. You pick the profile

Search a creator by name, or paste their LinkedIn profile URL. The profiles you already opened stay one click away.

  2. Their public activity lands in your dashboard

Every post over the period with its likes and its comments, their median likes and median comments, how often they publish, and how each post did against their own median.

  3. You read what works and write your version

Their formats, their themes, the slots they post in, and their best posts ranked. Open any post to read it in full, then go back to your own profile in one click.

ON SOMEONE ELSE'S PROFILE

Everything a creator makes public.

Any profile, in one click

Open Other profile from the dashboard header and search a creator by name. If they are not indexed yet, paste their LinkedIn profile URL and MagicPost pulls the profile in. The whole dashboard switches to their data, and one click brings you back to yours.

Analyze your first profile

Their posts, and the numbers LinkedIn makes public

Every post over 30 days, 90 days or 12 months, with its likes and its comments. You get their median likes, their median comments, how many posts they publish a week, and a performance column that says how many times a post beat their own median.

  • MediansLikes, comments, posts per week
  • PerformanceEach post against their own median
Impressions, engagement rate and follower counts stay private. LinkedIn does not expose them for another member, so no tool can show them.

Their formats, their themes, their rhythm

Which formats they publish in, which themes they keep coming back to, and the days and time slots they post in. It is the same reading as your own dashboard, applied to their profile: medians by format, by theme, by day.

Their best posts, ranked and readable

Their posts sorted by what landed, and each one opens in full in a read only view. This is where the transferable part sits: the opening line, the structure, the angle they took. Study three creators in your niche and the pattern shows up fast.

Where you actually stand

Comparing your likes to a much larger account teaches you little, because the two audiences are not the same size. On your own profile, Benchmarks places you among creators in your follower range, and the monthly LinkedIn benchmark gives you the market figures behind it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you open someone else's profile.

Can the creator see that I analyzed them?

No. You are reading public data from your own dashboard, the same data anyone can see by scrolling their profile. Nothing is sent to them, they get no notification, and there is no trace on their side.

Which numbers can I see on someone else's profile?

Their posts over the period you selected, each with its likes and its comments. On top of that: median likes, median comments, how many posts a week, a performance column that compares each post to their own median, their formats, their themes, the slots they post in, and their best posts ranked.

Can I see another creator's impressions or engagement rate?

No. Impressions, engagement rate and follower counts are private on LinkedIn for every member, and no tool has access to them. Any tool that displays them for someone else is guessing. Because impressions are missing, the dashboard leads with median comments on another creator's profile.

Can I see who follows a competitor?

No. The Audience and Benchmarks tabs work on your own profile only, because that data is private. On another creator you get their public posts and the public engagement on them, nothing more.

What if the creator is not in the search?

Paste their LinkedIn profile URL in the search panel. MagicPost adds the profile and loads their public posts, then the dashboard switches to them like any other profile.

Which plan includes it?

Analyzing another profile is included from the Analytics plan, like the rest of the metrics dashboard. There is nothing to install: no browser extension, and no scraping from your browser, since everything runs on our servers.
