Can you schedule comments on LinkedIn posts?
In MagicPost, yes. You write the comment in the same screen as the post, right under the editor, and choose when it goes out: right after the post is live, or after a delay you set. When the post publishes, the comment publishes on its own, through the official LinkedIn API, with no browser extension involved. All of this is about the comment under your own post: commenting on other people's posts is a different part of MagicPost, and you write and send those yourself.

From the moment the post goes live to fifteen days later. Two dropdowns set the delay, a number and a unit: Immediately publishes right behind the post, minutes go from 1 then 5 to 55, hours from 1 to 23, days from 1 to 15. Each comment under the same post keeps its own delay, and they go out in that order.
Can I schedule several comments under the same post?
Yes. Each one carries its own delay and they publish in that order: the link right behind the post, the detail a few hours later, a follow-up a day or two after. They are listed under the editor, sorted by delay, and any of them can be rewritten, moved to another delay or unscheduled until it goes out.
Can I put a link in a scheduled comment?
Yes, as plain text. LinkedIn attaches no preview to a link inside a comment, so it stays a line of text. That is what the immediate comment is usually for: the link, the source or the page you send people to lives under the post instead of inside it. A comment can also carry mentions of profiles and company pages, emojis, and one image or one GIF.
What happens if my post fails to publish?
The comments do not publish either. Nothing goes out orphaned under a post that does not exist: they stay where they are and leave with the post once it is published. Until a comment goes out, you can still rewrite it, move it to another delay or unschedule it. And if a mentioned profile cannot be tagged because of their LinkedIn privacy settings, MagicPost tells you when you save the comment and names the profile, so you can take the mention out before the post goes live.
Which plan includes scheduled comments?
They are included from the Creator plan and above, with the Analytics plan, during an active free trial, and with an organization seat. The trial is free, takes no credit card, and there is no browser extension to install.
