Do I need a browser extension to connect a client's LinkedIn?
No. There is nothing to install, on your side or on your client's. You generate a connect link from your workspace, they open it in the browser they already use, sign in on LinkedIn's own authorization screen, and close the tab. MagicPost is a LinkedIn verified partner, and everything you publish for them goes out through the official LinkedIn API.
Is it safe to connect a client's LinkedIn to MagicPost?
Yes. The connection runs on LinkedIn's official authorization: your client signs in on LinkedIn, not inside MagicPost, and grants the access needed to publish for them and read their stats. MagicPost is a LinkedIn verified partner, reviewed through LinkedIn's own developer process, and posts are published through the official LinkedIn API.
Does my client have to share their password with me?
No, and that is the point. They type their password on LinkedIn, on LinkedIn's own screen, and their two-step codes stay on their phone. Shared logins are the most common way an agency puts a client's account at risk, and the connect link takes them out of the picture entirely.
Does my client need a MagicPost account?
No. They never see a MagicPost login screen. They open the connect link once, authorize LinkedIn, and close the tab. Nothing to create, nothing to pay, nothing to remember. Later, if you want them to approve posts before anything goes live, that also happens from a link, with no account on their side.
Can I connect a company page instead of a personal profile?
Yes. Once they have authorized on LinkedIn, MagicPost asks your client which profile to connect: their own, or a company page they administer. One client carries one LinkedIn identity, so pick the one you actually publish for. A profile and a page are two separate connections, each with its own space.

Their LinkedIn profile is attached to their space in your workspace, and you get a confirmation email naming the account that was connected. The connect link stops working right after, so it cannot be reused. From your side, you can write, schedule and publish for them straight away.
