Getting started with MagicPost

Welcome! This guide will show you how to use MagicPost to quickly and easily create authentic LinkedIn posts using AI. After signing up, you'll land on the generator page, where you can start creating content right away.

Understanding the generator modes

• Standard mode: The default and simplest way to generate posts. Select your post type, category, and subject, then let MagicPost do the rest.

• URL mode: Generate posts from articles or YouTube videos by pasting a URL.

• Templates mode: Use or create templates to maintain a consistent format for your posts.

Creating a post in standard mode

1. Select a post type: Choose from actionable, inspiring, introspective, or promotional. Actionable posts are highly recommended for LinkedIn.

2. Choose a category: Options include useful categories, explanation, analysis, best practices, extracting advice, and list of types. Each category comes with a description to help you decide.

3. Enter your subject: Use the rotating examples under the subject field for inspiration. The goal is to keep it simple—no complex prompts needed.

4. Set parameters: Adjust tone, emojis, language, and AI model as needed. Defaults are recommended for beginners.

5. Generate your post: Click to generate. Each post uses a credit (free trial includes three credits). Paid plans offer more or unlimited posts.

Editing and enhancing your post

• Edit your post directly by clicking on it. Changes are saved automatically.

• Format text with bold or normal styles.

• Copy your post to use elsewhere, like Google Docs or Notion.

• Use AI options to regenerate the post, change the hook, or ask for specific changes (e.g., add images or quotes).

• Insert symbols and emojis easily—no need to search elsewhere.

• Preview your post as it will appear on LinkedIn, including the "see more" display.

Publishing and managing your posts

• Publish or schedule posts directly to LinkedIn from MagicPost. Choose your preferred date and time.

• Find all generated posts in the "My Post" page, where you can edit, schedule, or change their status (favorite, planned, produced, etc.).

Using URL mode

1. Paste a URL from an article or YouTube video (up to 45 minutes recommended).

2. Select a category and generate a post based on the content of the URL.

This feature is great for repurposing your own blog posts or summarizing interesting articles and videos.

Working with templates mode

1. Import a post format you like and save it as a template.

2. Use the template to generate new posts with the same structure, ensuring consistency in your content.

Advanced options

• After generating your first post, access advanced options to further customize your content.

• Add a signature to every post for branding and time-saving.

• Specify a particular hook to use in your next post.

Importing your writing style

1. Import your own or another creator's LinkedIn profile by providing the profile URL.

2. MagicPost analyzes the profile to learn the writing style and information.

3. Specify if the imported profile is yours or someone else's. If it's yours, MagicPost will use your tone and data for future posts.
