Will my posts sound generic with MagicPost AI?

A MagicPost post sounds like you only if you give MagicPost something to work from. With no setup, the MagicPost generator writes in a standard LinkedIn tone. With a writing style imported and a knowledge base filled in, MagicPost writes from your own posts, your background and your offer. AI post generation is included in Creator, Agency, and Team and in the free trial.

What MagicPost uses to write in your voice

MagicPost personalizes a generated post from four sources. Each one is optional.

  • A writing style. MagicPost measures the style of a LinkedIn profile from its posts, yours or another creator's, and applies it to your generations. See how to import a writing style.

  • Who you are. In the MagicPost knowledge base, the fields Profile, Summary, Audience, Offer and My story tell the AI what you do and who you write for. See how to add your offer and audience.

  • Your documents and your published posts. MagicPost can read documents you add to the knowledge base and the posts you already published on LinkedIn. See how to use the knowledge base.

  • Your writing settings. Tone, emojis, length and language are saved on your MagicPost account. See how to use writing settings.

What happens without a writing style

Without an imported writing style, the MagicPost generator shows an Add a style button and writes with one of five fixed tones: Standard, Conversational, Engaging, Formal or Humorous. The tone and length options based on the imported profile only appear in MagicPost once a writing style is active.

Importing your own writing style in MagicPost requires a connected LinkedIn account. A writing style can also be switched off without being deleted: MagicPost then goes back to the fixed tones.

How to limit AI-sounding phrasing

MagicPost has three tools against phrasing that readers associate with AI. None of them guarantees that a post cannot be detected as AI-written.

  • Humanizer, in the generator's Advanced options, tones down AI phrasing while MagicPost generates the post.

  • AI score, in the MagicPost editor, lists the AI phrasing found in a post and gives it a grade from A to E. See what the AI score is.

  • Humanize the post, in the Edit with AI panel, rewrites the AI phrasing of an existing draft. See how to edit a post with AI.

You stay in control of every MagicPost post: the generated text lands in an editor where you can rewrite any part before you schedule or publish.

FAQ

Does MagicPost learn my style automatically from my LinkedIn account?

Partly. During onboarding, MagicPost offers to connect your LinkedIn account to import your own writing style, and shows Writing style imported once the account is connected. After onboarding, you import a writing style yourself, from the MagicPost generator or the knowledge base. Once LinkedIn is connected, MagicPost also picks up your published posts: they appear as Your post history in the knowledge base, where a switch turns them off.

I imported a style and my posts still sound generic. What should I check?

Check that the style is switched on. In the MagicPost generator, open the writing style button at the top right of the form: the switch must show Active style. Then check that Memory enabled is on in the knowledge base, and that the AI context switch is on in the generator's Advanced options.

Can MagicPost write in the style of someone else?

Yes. MagicPost can import the writing style of another LinkedIn creator, and you can keep several styles and switch between them. Only one writing style is active at a time.

Are these personalization features available on every MagicPost plan?

No. The Growth plan does not include AI post generation, so the writing style and the knowledge base have no use there. AI post generation is included in Creator, Agency, and Team.
