The MagicPost Analytics plan
Schedule your posts and track your performance on LinkedIn. No AI, no generation, just the two things a serious creator actually needs every week: a clean place to publish, and a clear view of what worked.
The Analytics plan costs €29/month, or €17/month billed yearly (40% off). It is the entry plan: scheduling and metrics, without the AI features of Creator.
Who it is for
People who already have their voice and do not want a model writing for them.
Creators with an established style, who write themselves and refuse to sound generic.
Solopreneurs and employees who post regularly and want to see the impact.
People who used to pay for an analytics tool and only ever used the scheduling and the numbers.
Former Shield users. Shield was the reference for LinkedIn analytics, and it shut down. If you are looking for what replaced it, this is our answer, and the way we built it matters (see below).
If you want MagicPost to generate posts, rewrite your hooks, find you ideas or follow other creators' content, you want the Creator plan instead. What are the MagicPost plans and what is in them? compares the four side by side.
Built on LinkedIn's official API
Most LinkedIn analytics tools work through a browser extension or by reading your session cookie. That sits outside LinkedIn's developer programme. It is also, in Shield's own words, why they could not keep operating:
"Both Google and LinkedIn made it clear that we could not continue operating Shield as it was built."
MagicPost reads your metrics through LinkedIn's official OAuth API, as a LinkedIn partner. You authorise it the way you authorise any app, and you can revoke it from LinkedIn at any time.
There is no extension to install and nothing reading your session cookie, so nothing about using MagicPost puts your account outside LinkedIn's terms.
We go into the comparison in detail here: The best Shield Analytics alternatives.
What is included
The full metrics dashboard
A dashboard in four tabs, with a period selector on top (30 days, 90 days, 12 months, or custom):

Reporting: your key figures as medians, a progression chart, your best posts, formats, themes, and a heatmap of when you publish.
Posts: every post with every metric MagicPost tracks, advanced ones included: unique views, saves, link clicks, profile clicks, premium CTA clicks.

Audience: who actually follows you. Countries, job families, company sizes, industries.
Benchmarks: your numbers against other creators in your follower bracket. The tab that answers is 2,000 impressions good?, a question your own numbers never can.

How can I analyze my LinkedIn metrics? is the guided tour, with a detailed article on each part: the metrics themselves, Audience and Benchmarks, data freshness, and exports.
Analyze any other creator
Point the dashboard at anyone indexed by MagicPost: a competitor, a colleague, the voice everyone in your niche quotes. You see their public activity: posts, likes, comments, formats, themes. Included in the Analytics plan. How to analyze another LinkedIn creator shows what is visible and what stays private.
Scheduling
Schedule your posts from MagicPost, on your personal profile or a company page, with media, documents, polls and mentions.
And scheduled comments: a comment posted automatically under your own post, from immediately after publication up to fifteen days later. That is where the link goes, where the detail goes, where you revive a post two days on.
Exports
CSV: the full Posts table, filtered as you left it, with every metric column. For your own spreadsheets, your reporting, your board deck.
PDF: the Reporting tab, as a clean document.
What is not included
Being explicit, so nobody buys the wrong thing:
No AI post generation, no rewriting, no AI edits
No idea generator, no hook generator
No carousel or visual generation (a Creator feature)
No inspirations library
No engagement feed
No lead detection
All of those come with Creator. You can upgrade at any time, and your metrics history follows you.
How data freshness works
MagicPost syncs your posts automatically every weekday night, refreshes fresh posts repeatedly in the hours after publication, and lets you refresh manually up to 500 posts back on the Analytics plan.

FAQ
Do I need a browser extension?
No. MagicPost has no browser extension. Everything runs through LinkedIn's official API, so there is nothing to install and nothing reading your session.
Is my LinkedIn account at risk?
No. MagicPost is an official LinkedIn partner and you authorise it with OAuth, like any app you connect. Nothing is scraped from your session, which is what gets accounts restricted.
Why do my numbers differ from LinkedIn's?
Three reasons, all documented in why do my numbers differ from LinkedIn's?: impressions are attached to the post rather than to the day, reshares and group posts are not counted, and a boosted post's figures include the boost.
Can I analyze my company page?
Yes. LinkedIn exposes fewer metrics for pages than for people (no saves, profile clicks, followers gained or premium CTA clicks), but impressions, unique views, likes, comments, shares and link clicks all work.
Can I upgrade to Creator later?
At any time. Nothing is lost.
I was a Shield user. Will I find what I had?
The four tabs cover what Shield did, plus scheduling, which Shield never had. The comparison article goes through it point by point.
