The Analytics and Starter plans (no longer sold)
|Analytics and Starter are two former MagicPost plans for one person. MagicPost no longer sells either of them: the entry plan is now Growth. A subscriber who is still on Analytics or Starter keeps the plan, its price and its rights for as long as the subscription stays active.
The prices in this article are historical. They are the prices these two plans were sold at, not prices you can buy today. Current plans and prices are in What are the MagicPost plans and what is in them?
What happens to Analytics and Starter subscribers
MagicPost did not move anyone to a new plan. An active Analytics or Starter subscription renews at the price it was bought at, with the same features as before. The new Growth plan does not replace it, and its contents do not apply to it.
The one thing that changed is that these two plans are closed to new purchases. Once an Analytics or Starter subscription has ended, the same plan cannot be bought again.
The Analytics plan
The MagicPost Analytics plan was sold at $35 (€29) per month, or $21 (€17) per month billed yearly. It was a plan for people who write their own posts and want to schedule and measure them.

An Analytics subscription does not include AI post generation, the idea generator, the hook generator, AI edits, carousel and visual generation, inspirations, the engagement feed, Leads, or API and MCP access.
On the Billing page, an Analytics subscriber still sees the price list they subscribed on, with the Analytics card.
The Starter plan
The MagicPost Starter plan was sold at $49 (€39) per month, or $29 (€23) per month billed yearly, on the May 2026 price list. Starter was sold at other prices on other price lists. Whatever price a Starter subscription was bought at is the price it keeps.
Starter was a content creation plan. A Starter subscription includes AI post generation, the idea generator, the hook generator, AI edits and post scheduling.
Post generation on Starter is limited, and the limit depends on the price list the subscription was bought on. Carousel and visual generation is included too, with lower limits than on Creator.
A Starter subscription does not include the engagement feed, Leads, inspirations, or API and MCP access. Metrics and scheduled comments depend on the price list the subscription was bought on.
On the Billing page, a Starter subscriber sees the current MagicPost price list. Their own card shows Starter for the billing cycle they pay. Switching the card to the other billing cycle shows Growth and its price, because Growth is what MagicPost sells in that slot today.
Starter, Analytics and Growth are three different plans
Starter: AI content creation, without the engagement feed or Leads.
Analytics: metrics, scheduling and scheduled comments, without AI creation, the engagement feed or Leads.
Growth: metrics, the engagement feed, Leads and manual scheduling, without AI creation or scheduled comments. See Everything in the Growth plan.
An Analytics subscription does not gain the engagement feed or Leads because Growth has them. A Starter subscription does not lose AI generation because Growth closes it.
If you cancel, or let the subscription end
Canceling an Analytics or Starter subscription takes effect at the end of the period you already paid. Until that date you keep access, and the plan card on the Billing page shows Undo cancellation, which restores the subscription as it was.
After that date, the MagicPost account becomes a free account. The Billing page then offers the plans sold today, and Analytics or Starter cannot be bought again. The closest entry plan is Growth, whose contents are different.
If you change plan
An Analytics or Starter subscriber can upgrade to Creator at any time from the Billing page.
Leaving Starter is one-way. A Starter subscriber who upgrades and later downgrades lands on Growth, not on Starter, because Growth is the plan MagicPost sells in that slot today.
Changing the billing cycle of a Starter subscription also moves it to Growth. A Starter subscription cannot go from monthly to yearly, or from yearly to monthly, and stay Starter: the other cycle sells Growth, which has no AI creation.
MagicPost prices a downgrade on the plans sold today. An Analytics subscriber who upgrades to Creator should not count on coming back to Analytics afterwards.
If you only want LinkedIn metrics
MagicPost now sells its metrics-only offer as a separate product, Kliver Analytics. Kliver Analytics is dedicated to LinkedIn analytics and is priced per profile. A Kliver Analytics subscription is not a MagicPost plan.
FAQ
Can I still subscribe to the MagicPost Analytics or Starter plan?
No. MagicPost no longer sells Analytics or Starter. A new subscriber chooses between Growth, Creator, Agency and Team.
Will my Analytics or Starter price change?
No. An active Analytics or Starter subscription renews at the price it was bought at. The prices of the current plans do not apply to it.
I canceled my Analytics or Starter plan by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes, as long as the paid period has not ended. Click Undo cancellation on your plan card on the Billing page. Once the period has ended, the former plan can no longer be bought.
Does my Analytics plan now include the engagement feed and Leads, like Growth?
No. An Analytics subscription keeps the features it was sold with. The engagement feed and Leads come with Growth, Creator, Agency, and Team.
Why does my Billing page show Growth next to my Starter plan?
MagicPost now sells Growth in the slot Starter used to occupy. Your card shows Starter for the billing cycle you pay, and Growth for the other cycle. Your subscription itself has not changed.
Switching the billing cycle ends the Starter subscription: the other cycle is a Growth subscription, without AI creation.
