Worst hour: 3am ET (score 42 on 641 posts); 11pm (45) is the only other Monday slot clearly below the baseline.

Crowd vs performance: the busiest Monday hour is 9am (14,003 posts, score 80). The best-scoring hour is 8am (10,455 posts, score 95). Posting one hour before the crowd is the whole Monday trick.

Outside the US: the Monday peak is 8am in the UK (93), 7am Paris time in France (85, the strongest slot of the French week) and 9am IST in India (100, the strongest slot of the Indian week).

The old advice says skip Monday. Our data disagrees: Monday is the second-best day of the week for reach (1,980 of 10,798 creators peak there), and Monday 8am is the top weekday slot in the entire US table.

Outside the US: Tuesday 7am is also the pick in France (69, Paris time). In the UK, 8am and 9am tie at 73; in India, Tuesday is flat (9am, 10am and 11am all at 63), so no hour stands out.

The best day to post on LinkedIn, full stop: more creators peak on Tuesday (2,075 of 10,798) than on any other day. By Tuesday, people have cleared the Monday pile and settled into work mode.

Worst hour: 11pm ET (score 44 on 1,007 posts), then 6am (60).

On Friday, MagicPost's US data (543,472 posts, US Eastern) has no working hour above the baseline for the best time to post on LinkedIn: 7am, 8am and 9am all score 70, and the only slot that stands out is 5am (78), on a thin 694 posts.

Worst hour: 11pm ET (score 31 on 695 posts), the lowest weekday score in the table. Midnight (44) and 8pm (49) are the next lowest.

Crowd vs performance: 9am is the busiest Friday hour (12,591 posts) and scores 70, like every hour from 7am to 3pm. On Friday the crowd curve and the performance curve are the same flat line.

Outside the US: Friday is where countries diverge most. In the UK, Friday 7am scores 100, the single best slot of the British week; in India it is 8am IST (88); in France, 7am Paris time reaches 60, Friday's best there but below the French Monday (85).

Worst hour: 11pm ET, score 0 on 569 posts, the lowest value anywhere in the US table; 6am (47) is the next weakest.

Crowd vs performance: 9am is the busiest Saturday hour (4,898 posts) and scores 64, below the baseline. The 10am to 1pm block scores 70, on 2,259 to 3,791 posts per hour.

Outside the US: the UK Saturday tops out at 71 (8am to 1pm) and no French Saturday hour with more than 500 posts clears 52; India has a real Saturday evening, 8pm IST at 75 and 7pm at 73.

The day scores come from our analysis of 831,350 posts from 10,798 creators (real impressions, local time): a day's score is the share of creators for whom it was their single best day, rescaled so Tuesday reads 100.

The hour tables come from our timing dataset, collected through May 2026: 543,472 posts from US accounts for the tables on this page, 2,667,049 posts worldwide for the global view.

Each hour's score compares the engagement of posts published then with their authors' own averages, rescaled so the best slot reads 100; the baseline (70 in the US tables) means "no better than usual".
