Kleo started as a free Chrome extension that lived inside LinkedIn and grew past 70,000 users. In June 2025, LinkedIn required its removal, and the team rebuilt Kleo as a paid web app, now branded Kleo V3.

The current product is a writing workspace: a conversational AI that learns your expertise and writing style, plus a library of templates, hooks and post examples. How does Kleo work?

  1. Teach Kleo your voice

    You start by giving Kleo your context: expertise, audience, products, goals and previous posts. The AI keeps learning from each post you write with it, so the drafts move closer to how you actually write.

  2. Draft from a chat, a template or a swipe

    Posts come out of a conversation with the AI, from one of the templates and hook frameworks, or from a post you saved to your swipe file. The Chrome extension now exists for that saving job only: it captures content from the web and does not act inside LinkedIn.

  3. Format, schedule, publish

    Drafts get previewed and formatted in the app, then scheduled or published to LinkedIn in one click. Kleo states that it performs no other action on your LinkedIn account, and its FAQ says it uses LinkedIn's official API where appropriate.

  4. Join Kleo's weekly coaching calls

    The subscription includes weekly live coaching sessions and a private community; the annual option adds a private kickoff call. Kleo sells the calls and the community as part of the product, and the app is the workspace that comes with them.
