Sharing templates with your team

If you run an agency or a team, templates are how you make one person's good structure everyone's default. A template shared with the organisation shows up in every member's picker, ready to use.

The Équipe tab

Members of an organisation get a third tab in the template picker: Équipe. It holds every template shared across the organisation, grouped by the colleague who shared it.

The tab only appears if you are in an organisation with other members.

Sharing a template

Only an admin of the organisation can share a template. From the template's menu, click Partager avec l'équipe.

That is deliberate: it keeps the shared library curated. A team where everyone can push templates ends up with forty of them and nobody using any.

Once shared, the template carries a small Partagé avec l'équipe badge in your own list, so you always know what is public to the team.

What your team sees

A shared template is read-only for everyone else. Members can:

  • Use it to generate posts.

  • Star it as a favourite.

  • Copy its text.

  • Duplicate it into their own templates and adapt it.

They cannot edit it, delete it, or re-share it. The template stays yours; they work from a copy if they need changes.

Unsharing

Click Ne plus partager from the template's menu. It leaves the Équipe tab immediately.

Two people can do this: the template's owner, and any admin of the organisation — an admin can withdraw a template shared by someone else, which is the moderation lever if a shared library starts drifting.

When you unshare, your colleagues lose it from their picker, and any favourite they had on it goes with it. Templates they had already duplicated into their own list stay theirs.

Deleting a shared template

Deleting removes it for everyone, immediately and permanently. If colleagues rely on it, unshare it rather than delete it, or tell them to duplicate it first.

Making it work in practice

  • Share few, share good. Three templates the team actually uses beat twenty nobody opens.

  • Name them for the use case, not for the content. "Annonce de recrutement" is what a colleague searches for.

  • Use the usage counter. On a shared template it counts the whole team, so after a month you know exactly which ones earned their place.

  • Let people duplicate. A member who adapts your structure to their own voice is the point, not a failure of the template.

FAQ

I am in an organisation but I do not see the Équipe tab.

The tab only appears once your organisation has more than one member.

Why can I not share my template?

Sharing is reserved to organisation admins. Ask an admin to share it, or to make you one.

What happens to shared templates if the person who shared them leaves the team?

They stop appearing in the organisation's tab. Anyone who duplicated one keeps their copy.

Can members of my organisation see my other templates?

No. Only the ones explicitly shared.
